The real reason why rabbit isn't as common of a protein is because it's not available at the grocery store very often. The only times I've had rabbit, we acquired it Ted Nugent style. We mostly did fried. Fried rabbit is awesome.

I am so lucky to have a local butcher that keeps rabbit in stock. I'm going to have to try this now.

One of the many things I love about your videos is that you always take a significant amount of time showing yourself (and friends) enjoying what you cook in a variety of ways. Many KZread cooks take one bite of their food at the end and that’s it. You make the work that goes into it look worthwhile 👍

Always informative and Hilariously funny. All your videos are a joy to watch Thank you Bradley
Bradley is amazing chef and funny guy. Keep up the good work👍👍.
The Easter Bunny chased that darn snake out of my boot!
with three rabbits in freezer camp, I am now doing this in the next couple days. kids like me to butcher and fry into nuggets, but this is easier and not fried. Thanks for sharing!
Cool to see you doing some non traditional meats!
i really must have enjoyed this.I caught myself drooling! I raised rabbits as a child for meat,on the farm you do what is needed, but made me want to try something new,Thank You
Looks good. Glad to see you upgrade your beer!!!
Man.....keep doing what you're doing! Always great content!
Looks amazing. Great video
I've eaten rabbit a bunch of different ways. This was by far the tastiest. By far. Seriously, the best meal I've eaten in a long time. Thanks for the recipe. PS. Franks Red Hot as the acid was a stroke of genius.
Hilarious tagline about the Easter Bunny!
Cooked a rabbit a really long time ago. Turned out ok. Flavour was good but a little tuff. If I find another rabbit at the grocery store I’ll have to revisit it.
I remember when rabbits were $3 a pair, now here in Australia they’re $50 each, thanks Masterchef

Nice video brother. Never had smoked rabbit before but we usually fry it here in Mississippi and pair it with onion gravy, so darn good. Definitely looking forward to more of your videos, you just gained a new subscriber. 👍🏾
Give me hasenphefer, or give me death! Awesome cook. That was a nice portly rabbit. Happy Easter to all - I'm agnostic, but appreciate any calendar day devoted to gluttony.
Bad ass cooker man. Rabbit is good stuff for sure
Fantastic man….!!! We started raising rabbits and was wondering if we’d like it. This was my first attempt and it was INSANE….!! I’m making it again right now for my dad. I used wing sauce instead of Red Hot (it’s what I had) but I can’t imagine they’re much different. Thanks so much man. Trackin on your other stuff too now. Cheers.🍻
Thanks man deserves a thumbs up, 👍👍👍😁
My wife and I just got into raising meat rabbits. Gonna process two tomorrow. Haven't smoked a rabbit yet, but I plan to when it warms up a little bit. Looks delicious, thanks!
Great video! Love some rabbit over the coals.
The rabbit being spread out on the table reminds me of the Francis Mallmann approach to Lamb al Asador
oh boy...looks soooo good
Looks so damn good! Thanks for sharing!
Ought to be plenty of folks with regretted Easter bunnies here in a few weeks too!
Sear and brown it in bacon fat , remove from skillet, make a gravy from drippings, saute some green onions add into gravy , put rabbit into gravy , put a lid on it and simmer till it falls off the bone. Pile that on a big scoop of sticky rice. I grew up on it cooked like that. It's sooooooo tasty
Awesome bro 🔥
Subscribed to your awsome channel!!!
That’s a hefty rabbit!! 👍🏽❤️
Love your videos man! You should do a knife sharpening video if you don't have one already! I know it seems pretty straight forward but it seems like my knives don't hold an edge for very long at all!
Omg you are just SO HILARIOUS
Brilliant!!
Easter Rabbit 🐰 too funny!
That reminded me of going to the Live chicken & rabbit butcher in an old ethnic part of the city in New Bedford Ma. called Lavardo's. I'll never forget asking for a rabbit and watching the attendant grab the rabbit from the cage and club it on it's head then disappear around a corner whence begun a quick series of chops with a cleaver. He reappeared moments later and handed me a warm plastic bag of rabbit parts and charged what I thought was equivalent to chicken. It was a twi-light zone experience for a visit as a first time customer. Today, rabbit here is hard to find and so damn expensive, you might think they're selling beef tenderloin. Sorry Brad, didn't mean to digress, that rabbit sure looked welcoming and tasty.
Have you ever made boudin? Would love to see a video on how to!!! Your videos are awesome brother! Been learning a lot from you!
Love the knife leather
Love me some smoked rabbit!!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘oh yeah!!! Looks good.
Your killin me I have 16 meat rabbits at 7 weeks. 3 more weeks of waiting while drooling will be the death of me.
For anyone wanting to try rabbit for the first time, I strongly suggest getting your hands on some wild rabbits. Much much better than farm raised! But both can be good
As an Irishman and mountain man I eat rabbit a few times a month, 300° for w hours was a little too high and too long for my preference. I go 250 for up to 2 hours but usually 1 hr 45 mins max. When he flipped at one hour in it was stiff already and probably about done then and there. Stew, then soup, then fried in butter are the best ways to make rabbit. It's so damn lean you gotta either add fat or cook in fat to keep it from getting dry like overcooked chicken.
Happy Easter folks!!!
Bradley now that is funny. For Easter you celebrate by smoking the Easter Bunny....😂😂
Oh mylanta! 😲 RIP easter bunny
Yes, first off. That is one hell of a big rabbit. Now, as I pull my rabbit out of the fridge. It is time to spank the wetness out of it. Time to start the Rec-Teq RT700, and back to Peter for some spices. Will let you guys know how Peter turned out.
Beautiful Bunny Bradley......
R.I.P. Easter Bunny...he looked delicious!
Damn that’s good eating 🔥🔥
I never know wtf your next video is gonna be. I'm always sitting here watching like...well...he's done just about everything.... Tuesday rolls around, "Let's smoke the Easter bunny".
National dish of the island of Malta
Cottontail rabbits are good as well (aka wild ones). I'm going to try and bag a snowshoe hare next season. Same white meat but twice the size.
“Water” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The only american youtuber to pronounce worcestershire sauce properly. Just a fyi in the uk we just say worcester sauce, pronounced "wooster sauce"
This looks like a winner, although I don't know where I could buy a whole rabbit. I guess I will have to do the ol Elmer Fudd method and go hunting for wabbit. Have a great day.

I bought some rabbits from the local High School. The Agriculture class raises a variety of animals. Contact your local school and see if they have an Ag class. Then there is also the local 4H or FFA programs that would definitely have members who raise rabbits and other animals like goats, sheep, chickens, etc...

Would a dry brine with salt work?
Bradley anytime you are running low on brine water bottles let me know I will help you prune the roses...all four of them...
I'm thinking brined and tallow injected venison roast. Direct heat, hot and fast?
here in the Netherlands we have a lot of geese, were you able to prepare a goose on the smoker once. Thanks👌
When you smoke a rabbit ... Which end do you put in your mouth and how do you keep it lit....
Smoked beef tongue! Do it! Please!!!
Rabbit keeps the boot snakes away.
What would you different for a wild cotton tail rabbit?

This is the 2nd week in a row without a “snake in my boot” comment and I’m very disappointed!!! And my 11 yo is down right mad!
Nice to see people our age on the smoker, especially coal fire.Lots of youtubers using electric 🤮.Awesome channel dude.Keep em coming.🤙
Can we buy the grill u cooked the rabbit on?
That’s a huge bunny.
Dang they finally caught bugs bunny
Am I the only one that heard this dude bust a fart out

So I a back yard cooking enthusiast in lockhart. Any way I can pay you or your team to make me a custom chimney for my fire starters?
Do you have a contact number for countryside farms to purchase these rabbits?
Does Bradley remind anyone else of Drew Barrymore?
June bugs in march🤔😂
I have ate hundreds as a kid but haven’t had one in forever. 🤔
I have a friend who says that he got worms when he was younger from an undercooked rabbit. How concerned should I be of buying a rabbit and having this happen to me?
WHERE DO i GET THAT RABBIT?
You smoke a cute lil bunny, but you haven't smoked that snake yet? 😂
Dude just cooked the Easter bunny
Was this a store bought rabbit or wild game (hunted) I only ask because that looks like a lot of white meat for wild rabbit.
Dam that bunny looks delicious where did you get it
Where is the snake cook?
If I were to ask three of my friends how to “smoke a rabbit” I would get three different answers only one of which is good related.
If you are mimicking buttermilk why not just use buttermilk?
can you do venison sometime?
Excuse me Mr. Robinson, was there or was there not the proverbial snake in your boot?
Your link for the knife roll leads to a Carhartt tool tool. It doesn't look the same as the one in the video.
What happened to the snake?
Should have saved this video for April first and titled it "Smoked Kitty"
