    Gotta say, i love this durag. It's so easy to put on compared to trying to the ones that you have to tie. Only downside, it come off in your sleep sometimes, but not an all the time thing. You just have to make you put it on securely when sleeping at night, of course. But I'll say this thing is definitely worth it, especially if you have braids and are sleeping at night. I only really wear this thing after a shower close to bed time when I'm relaxing watching tv, but since I added this to my arsenal it's helped my braids stay tighter a little longer then usual.

    another tip i’ve found is when my braids got longer than the durag would cover I would pull them all back into like a ponytail without the hair tie and tie my durag like that so the cape is cover the ends and i’m not sleeping on them so they chance of them getting bent or curled is lower

    Thank you for this video, liked the video and subbed to you. You explained really well. Tomorrow is the day I'll be getting my box braids done, I've been wanting them for a long time, had very long hair before when i had curls, man bun, back braids. So i cut it short and started growing it. It's a medium size hair now. But I'll be getting some small box braids for now, until it keeps growing so i can get the ones you have. I've got enough hair at the back, just the fringe as i had a fresh crop before/edgar. But I can't wait to experience the new hairstyle the new look, happy new years everyone hope you have the best year, this year will come with so much blessings and happiness i hope yall make the most outta it. Keep your chin up and move forward and look ahead for the future. Patience is KEY! Things will come to you when the times right. Stay focused and grind. Don't stop! Enjoy life with your loved ones. Pray to your lord. And stay crystal yall

    Hey man, I've got a short high top fade. I was going to buy a Silk pillowcase and oil my hair at night, instead of the morning to keep the compression of the sides (because if I oil in the morning, I'll be going at the opposite direction of the compression of my hair). Is this cool?

    The issue is I tried the bonnet and it just slips off when I’m sleeping. I’m in the same boat. Last night I try using a durag and putting a bonnet over the durag, and when I woke up, I had to go looking for the bonnet, cause it was gone from my head.

  • @johnnyr8603
    @johnnyr86039 ай бұрын

    My situation is that my braids are twice as long as your braids. So when I go to put the bandanna on, I had do use two since my bandannas are a little smaller, and when I do the durag the bottom half of my braids are still sticking out because my braids are longer. Is that a problem when sleeping if your braids are sticking out? I just don’t want them to get messed up.

    It’s mostly the tightness on twisted Durag straps that cause those marks. Try to keep ‘em flat as much as possible when your tying them.

    yeah so I used to have the same problem, The best solution to this is when you sleep to make sure your twist or braids are secure and laid down , I usually wear a Durag and then a compression cap on top of the Durag and then I even put a bonnet over that to protect my braids or twist the very best I can and that helps a lot
