We are going to be working on how to sing Amazing Grace and how nice it would be for you to feel comfortable singing this in a public setting. Amazing Grace is a spiritual hymn with words written by the English poet John Newton.
Hello! I’m Josh. I’ve spent the past 20 years as a working singer. I’ve gigged with Paul McCartney, with 50 Cent, and been featured on multiple Feature Film soundtracks and popular video game soundtracks.
I was trained in a New York Conservatory, studied with world class instructors, and continued working with the world’s best classical singing teachers for over 20 years. This was really helpful, especially the part where you brought up acknowledging it physiologically and that it's just your body's unique sound. Kind of a "trust the process" type of reassurance for me. Thank you and GBWY. 💛

Egads, Josh, I need some of that grace! This goes right over my rather troublesome passagio, and the word "passagio" is all I remember from voice lessons eons ago. Can't sing in head voice at all anymore.
