How to Show "X out of Y" Correct Quiz Answers w/ Variables in Articulate Storyline 360
Articulate Storyline 360's result slides make it super easy to give learners dynamic feedback at the end of quizzes and surveys. Even just using the built-in default settings, you can customize Storyline 360's results slides to look any way you like.
But sometimes, you may want to include more detailed feedback in the results, such as the number of correctly answered questions out of the total number of questions. Or maybe you want to customize the feedback wording to be grammatically correct based on whether one or multiple questions were answered.
And finally, another common use case is to display the current number of correct answers on each slide. That's where custom variables come in. And the good news is you only need a single number variable to make this happen in Articulate Storyline 360.
Wait. Have you never worked with variables? That's okay. This is a great way to get started.

Hi David - Have you ever had a request to create one Pick Many question and to display multiple different feedback per number of answers correct. For example you have 4 answers, 3 are correct, but you only chose 2... How would you create specific feedback per multiple answers? (Hope this makes sense)... and if you have done similar, could you point me to the answer please :) ?

David, what about if you only have one question slide that's set up as a Pick Many freeform slide? My client wants x out of y tallies on the results slide, but there is only one correct/incorrect feedback for all of the 15 selections on the question slide.

@@cbtcafe Not only did this helped but it allowed me to get a deeper understanding on how to customize results screens. I'm a designer first so thinking in developper mindset is not something that comes first.
