I have learned to put items in my cart even if questionable because someone else will grab it. Then before leaving I go through my cart to see what I want to keep or leave behind. That's when I look things up to make sure what it's worth, etc.

5:29. Bottom, left. Looks like a lid to a VitaMix blender, or similar. I have had good luck selling such lids. Some you can get as much as $25 for easily. People often need them for their expensive Vitamix, BlendTec blenders, because they lose them, need an extra one, or they bought one on Ebay, but missing the lid. I always grab them. Vitamix and Blentec bl;ender parts always sell fast for me. Carafe.. Base units, lids.. etc. Food pushers, as well. People always need replacement parts. Also, Breville Juicer parts sell fast and for decent money. Grab them (especially if cheap).

Go through the old computers too. What you're looking for are the old sound cards. A working soundblaster can fetch over 100 dollars. Well worth your time learning about them and I get them for less than 2 bucks a piece

I like the occasional stopping with information- that's a fascinating way to watch and learn.

At 17:10 you grabbed a Lisa Frank binder. Those 90's nostalgic pieces are worth picking up.

At 7:14 I think I saw a Cutco Spatula Spreader. They are nearly $80 brand new and sell for about $20 online.

Everyone has different items they look for. I do the same and have looked up thousands of items and my wife even more. It's a never ending learning process. I did see several items I would have picked up

Sometimes at ours you can bargain to pass less per pound for a heavy item, also ours prices differently than yours. Ours is just by weight (by major type - clothes vs shoes vs books). I have found $80 items in the bins, plus one time, cash (and from a bin that was there over the weekend).

No Goodwill bins in my area, always said I would like to go to one but after watching your video I have definitely changed my mind. I’ll pay an extra dollar to find something to sell and not have to dig through the garbage.

I love the bins. Ours closed due to the virus and I miss it so much. I do get to TX once and a while I need to look this one up to see if it's near where my daughter lives.

First time watching you dig. Other utube people have awesome Bins. Mine are lousy but I still go sometimes. Always gloved and a mask. The dust is to much! I used to home school. I would have bought a game, and wrote the company for the missing rules. And I would have grabed just the paper out of that box, light weight. I don't shop to sell. Yesterday I found 7 vintage music sheets . One is worth $120.00 It's a first addition. The pictures are AMAZING. The other 6 priced at 10 to 20.00 bucks. Yes, I do dig!

Something I have been successful with is buying incomplete games. Of course I check them before buying but replacement game pieces do well for me.

Game pieces can sell well, also, so if it is a vintage game or a popular game, even if some pieces are missing, look to see if the pieces that are there are worth picking up .

Not sure if this sells...but there was a Pyrex lid you passed up. I used to have brown Pyrex pots/pans. But the lids get broke and it was hard to find a replacement. Also sterling silverware can sell for jewelry. I have a beautiful necklace someone made from a spoon. Love your channel.

@ 7:15 you came across a Cutco spatula knife, which is a bolo brand. I sold that specific knife for $30 within a few days of listing it.

7:14 was a Cutco knife...those sell for good money, especially having a whole set.

wondering if those old aluminum pan lids are recyclable....i love my Nanas aluminum pans, but I come across the odd aluminum lid at so many yard sales.

Found a fully intact no damage 14x6 Waterford crystal lamp shade in Goodwill blue bin yesterday!Thought it was Gorham and when I got it home I spotted the tiny acid etched waterford and seahorse.Literally did a happy dance and started screaming in my kitchen.Hoping to get $150.00 or gift it at xmas to my motherinlaw who loves Waterford.Paid a flat rate of $3.00.My Goodwill outlet charges a flat rate for small heavy items instead of by weight.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I probably would only buy complete games but if I would find myself buying an incomplete game, I have heard of sellers parting out the pieces. The bins here mostly have clothing and purses in the bins. Glass things are on shelves around the outside walls. .

We have no bins here in my City, wish we did. That shell on the plate is an ammonite fossil shell

Not all Goodwill outlets, bins, do pricing like that. Many just charge by the pound. No discount on breakables.

In Arizona the bins are for returns and customers are not allowed in them, however ebayers act all entitled and do it anyway

new here.. im in fredericksburg tx.. where are the best bins in my area? also with board games people will pay for pieces only and just the boards..

My bins equipment is a backpack full of bags and bungee cords (I ride a scooter), gloves, Benadryl, tissues, and a magnet (in case I find jewelry bits.

I went to a warehouse in Silvertown E16 called Thrift factory Kilo sale !! They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there. They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and trollies But it was worth it as many where Brand new with Tags

Ka Smith go with someone. My niece and I decided to go tackle it. We nearly walked right out. Then we said, were here, let’s try it. But we were such newbies, we got pushed aside. We decided to tackle bins that were also ready sitting by themselves. I’ve been just twice only though. Won’t go on my own. Lol! Best with a buddy.

Can I ask how you sell these? I have several from old devices and would love to get a return from them. I’m new to the resale game.

One suggestion I have is go with your gut feeling when going through the bins. It doesn't cost but a few cents to pick it up. I have found many valuable items in those bins.

Don’t feel guilty about the galvanized letters. Dollar tree has been selling those for the last couple years so I guarantee that’s what those are.

Llama llama is a hot seller where I live.

Our city took an existing goodwill and turned into a goodwill bin outlet. I was so excited, but when we got there everything was junk. Is was like the reject of the rejects from other stores. The clothes and shoes looked so worn out. And the breakable were actually broken. 😡

Monica Ramirez That’s what the bins are, aren’t they? The rejects of Goodwills, so give it a chance and eventually it will get better. Maybe they’ll get more from nearby cities. Maybe??

@@annaibarra3447 incorrect. Atleast for my local outlet. They get donations from people who go there instead of a regular goodwill to donate. Or goodwill won’t sell an item for a couple weeks and send it to an outlet store.
