I personally don’t enjoy bin shopping at all! I feel that too many things get damaged and ruined by people digging through and breaking things, too! I prefer to shop where it colours are coordinated and tidily placed… I don’t like brass…but I do really like pewter and tarnished silver…❤

Kay, I also thinks it’s sad to find photographs. The other item that makes me sad is seeing stuffed animals in the bins. Presumably, a child once loved the toy and now it’s discarded like the Velveteen Rabbit. 😢

I gasped out loud when you picked up The Boxcar Children item! I was obsessed with that book series as a little girl. I’m sure some collector would love to have it. So sad that it went to the landfill.

I didn’t realize you live in the Houston area. I love the goodwill bins but I live outside the city so don’t get there as often as I would love. I can’t believe you did not get the boxcar children train. It would be cute in front of a big tree with a vintage doll and a small tree inside!
