I cannot believe the prices of goodwill. It is supposed to be a charity shop. We're having the same problem in Albuquerque to. I don't shop there anymore I go to other thrift stores instead what prices are much better

The picture frame behind the teapot would look great painted white and distressed. I do like it natural too, but could picture it white in that vignette.

*HAPPY 4th Of JULY/INDEPENDENCE DAY🧨 💥🇺🇸 🎆🎇🎆 🇺🇸 to DANIELLE, GARRETT, LINCOLN, JACKSON & DANIELLE'S MOM and the entire FAMILY‼️🇺🇸 ❤🤍💙🧨💥🔥 🇺🇸 🎉* *I L❤VE the way you decorate❣️ Everything you found looks so good styled in your home; you have a knack for vignettes and layering. I am a MAXIMALIST, too. The print with the image of the girl and the poem look so charming framed...and what a perfect frame you chose. 😊 Yes, you were right; that lace trim IS Battenburg lace. 😉*

Your square cloth is a tea cloth, for tea service. The paper with the little girl can be pressed with an dry iron. The green fabric could be hemmed and used as a throw.

I like the cabinet's display, but girl I thought for sure you'd buy that vintage horse story book! It is so nice that you have your mom to go with you when you thrift. My mom would do that with me a time or two. I wish she still could.

A sunny morning here in England and a lovely way to start the day watching your video. You always find such wonderful items and style them so beautifully. I’ve always loved old and vintage items and you have inspired me to display them in my home in a more interesting way, instead of just putting them in a cabinet. Loved the brass candle stick and bird cages. I have bird cages hanging in my garden. Looking forward to your next video.

Its ok.. we love to shop & love your thriting videos! I want to collect transfer ware in all the colors.. plates, saucers, platters.. and do a plate wall! I think it would be really pretty😊 Oh I loved the spool trees! I think they would be cute tucked in with some of my primitive pieces or on a shelf with my other antique & old vintage sewing pieces! Loved the bird cage, have one on my hunt list..i want to get one & decorate the inside. I've seen several ladies do that & its so pretty! I loved the spiral candle stick, i have several that's just a single..i just place them in a group together. Someone showed a set like that the other day, but they had more patina.. first time I've seen one like that too. I'm always obsessed with anything old & made of wood, large or small😊 Oh wow.. that maroon colored chair for $5?! That was A steal! I really liked it! I collect things, especially art, grin the regency/Victorian era.. love the book you were flipping thru! I would definitely frame pictures out of it! I have several coffee table books i use to frame the art. The there's a mod podge hack to make them look like an oil painting. I'm in the process of moving from Tennessee to Florida. The closest bins in TN were an hour or more away. The area I lived in was just little small towns, lots of antique stores, not really any thrift stores besides the one we owned. The Good Will was horrible, mostly clothing. There's A couple bins near by in Florida, tons of thrift stores all around, some antique stores & a large antique mall about 30-40 away!!😁 We're staying with my son right now while we look for a place..ooohh i can't wait to get a place & get back to thrifting!! I think I'm going to go to the big habitat restore this week tho & look for some furniture! And maybe hi the thrift store beside it😉 Wow there were some really great pieces there at the bins! Great frames & fabrics. That frame inside the frame with the old photo was awesome! I would have had a buggy load😄 I'm excited for my first experience with that too! Gonna try to talk my DIL into doing that with me! I love the old piece of paper with the poem you found & framed, how cool! Love how you styled it too. Of course I love table linens & things that have pretty stitching.. the piece you ground was beautiful! Looks like for it might be for the little round side tables maybe. Ohhh my i really love the green toile fabric, is gorgeous!! Green is my favorite color & because i love that scenery on it i would have grabbed it..i don't sew at all, but i would have used it for something for sure! You should use Google lens for the pieces your not sure of! I use it for everything, and even in the store sometimes to see if a piece I worth the price. We used it all the time when pricing things in our thrift store. But Alot of people are starting to use it now, you can found out the age, what its worth, things like that.. and its simple! Great tool when thrifting/antiquing & collecting things. The magazines are so cool! Absolutely love hot you have the cabinet & that whole are decorated and the hall tree area also! Love how you decorate everything, so pretty❤ You had A great haul! Enjoyed & TFS😊

Love the teapot and that vintage paper piece you framed looks so nice behind it. That bag certainly was perfect to hang there in that spot too. You definitely know how to put things together; and I know I have said it time and time again. You poor girl....why are you scared of your sewing machine? lol The green toile piece is lovely, but have to admit that I thought the blue on white would go home with you also.

The glass display shelf box could hold tiny waterglobes, paperweights, old fashion calligraphy or fountain pens or ink bottles, and change to a minature snowy village scene with minature village cottages, sled, etc. Add battery operared string of tiny glittery white lights, adding mini fluffy white feathers for "snow." Could also add little frames of silver, wood or brass to display on shelves.Happy holidays!

  • @maryohare4141

The wooden spoon display boards could be used for Christmas display shelf for special, precious glass ornaments hanging on v3lvet cranberry ribbon, staggering in different heights. Add tiny twinkle white lights, sprigs of evergreen and holly and an candle holder and cranberry candle. Then, in spring/summer hang minature silver frames with lacy ribbon with Victorian etchings, pressed violets or wildflowers, sepia photo of a baby or toddler in Victorian clothes, or minature teacups hanging, gold heart locket, stop watch etc. By tying a knot in top of ribbon, lace or twine...you could slip it over the spoon holder grooves...even use tiny bit of craft putty so anll stays in place.
