    I put a Mesa Truckee forend on mine. They come in varying lengths, but I went with a 15" model since I mounted a weapon light. Having a 15" forend with MLOK rails means that I can mount a light far enough forward that there is minimal blockage of the light beam from the gun itself.

    @@gangstar8652 actually no.. It is illegal to own a firearm in India(only under special circumstances or if you are politically well connected) . Which is really sad.. But considering the absolute lawlessness in some parts of India.. Coupled with the utter inefficiency of police force... Our country population would have reduced considerably.. If you give arms to Indians then you are done for.. We shoot first.. Not bother about the questions and if you come and ask questions we will shoot you too.. Even then we might not give two hoots about the consequences.. Our traditional martial traditions were the first things that were dismantled by the colonial powers.. And unfortunately we never gained them back..

    @@osmanvasquez11 Yeah It was just Turknelli I picked up from S&J. I really like it. It's not fancy but It's a semi auto modelled after the Benelli M4 for much cheaper. Mine personally runs fantastic and I can certainly recommend it. Was somewhat picky on which bird shot it liked though so I would try a box before doing a bulk purchase of anything. All full power ammo such as slugs or buckshot worked without a hickup.

  • @ladamyre1

    @ladamyre1

    3 жыл бұрын

    If you ghost load the gun you don't have to worry about that lever. Pulling the trigger on a round in the chamber does the same thing, so if there's a round on the carrier, firing the gun will load it and deliver a new round from the magazine to the carrier. With a 7rd tube you can go into "combat" with 9 rounds of 2-3/4" short brass or 8 rounds of tall. I'm shooting Nobili Sport Italia LE tall 00 buck which has 12 pellets per round: short 00 usually has only 9 pellets. This guy actually has the magazine setup I prefer: A 5rd tube with a 2rd extension. This way a field strip can include cleaning out the magazine, should some grit get in there, without needing tools. Should you get the idea of replacing the 5rd tube with a 7rd tube and not gluing the new tube in place so you could clean the magazine in the field without that tool, you run the risk of launching the follower into the darkness if you slip somehow. With the 5rd + 2rd x/t setup all you do is unscrew the 2rd tube and take out the spring and follower. Reassemble in reverse: Follower, then spring, then capture the free end of the spring with the tube and easily compress the spring to screw on the tube. Almost no chance of launching the tube into the void. No Gomer is that clumsy. If he is he shouldn't be shooting this gun, let alone trying to clean it.

    Since you didn’t mention it I’ll guess the answer is no. I recently got a m4 and put the b&t rail on it. Three buckshot shells later and the ring that the handguard is held in place with sheered off from the barrel. Benelli has been easy enough to work with so far and the m4 is on its way to get inspected. So far with the research I’ve done I haven’t come across this problem with the b&t rail or any other aftermarket rail. I’d love to hear back from you or anyone that has any input.

No threads so no breaching spikes But it all looks bad ass So a home soil rig like yours is what I’ll eventually upgrade to, right now I’m just happy to have the weapon, but I’d get my 2 rounds back first when I go the 922r route Thanks for the vid it appears that your really having fun, that’s nice to see, hoping to feel that way about firearms again

    Running a tube-fed shotgun proficiently requires more skill than a pistol, but because the shotgun’s tactical prevalence has been overshadowed by the AR-15, shotgun training is somewhat scarce. The Defensive Shotgun Course given by Tom Givens of Rangemaster Firearms Training, however, is one way to get a solid foundation in tactical shotgun shooting. I recently took this class using a Benelli M4. First we'll address the class, then look at the M4 and how it performs.

    I’m assuming the reason there is a shell advance and the gun doesn’t automatically pick up a shell out of the magazine when you manually cycle it is for possible unloading or malfunction clearing. With a normal pump action, when you want to unload the gun you have to cycle the action several times over unless you know how to override the magazine. I’m guessing that being a semi auto meant for duty use type of shotgun they wanted it to be easy to unload and safe the weapon and they wanted to have a way to manually cycle the action if necessary without picking up ammo in the case of a malfunction such as a sticky shell casing. Sometimes dropping the bolt on a casing that didn’t extract the first time and then manually cycling will remove it. It’s one of those things I’ve always found interesting.

    Fun Fact: This just became required viewing for my fireteam. Outstanding video and a great visual representation for something that I cant get direct hands on training for because the Marine Corps only sources weapons from goodwill.
