How To SHOCK A Russian Waitress!😳 w/

#moscow #moscowtravel #russia #russiatravel #russianlanguage #learnrussian #russiangirl
Today I meet up with Joseph ‪@expatamerican3234‬ and Aroura to swap some culture. First they take me to an American Diner in the heart of Moscow, where our waitress, Eva ends up being the unexpected star of the video.
Be sure to go straight over to ‪@expatamerican3234‬ channel to continue the night with us. I will take them to a Scottish pub to drink whiskey and eat haggis. There will even be a surprise appearance from Stan ‪@sfilinom‬.

The center of city is nice. Of course, if you stay in a nice hotel. Most apartment buildings in the center are very run down with dirty, rusty and often flooded basements. Majority of the city where the most of population lives is not that beautiful and interesting as the historic center. It is pretty dull and uninspiring if not depressing.

There are several agencies that can help you with visa, checkout other expat channels for answers. Like 'plastic russian' or 'wild siberia'. Usual travel path is through the turkey or serbia. For the money, I think expats usually wants to transfer the money to Russia, not FROM. However it should be still possible but depends on a sum. You can use cache, crypto or open bank account in 3-rd party country. However if you are USA citizen it could be extra hard, because nobody wants to break USA rules by letting USA citizens to work with Russia. In that case you may need a non USA persons help or use a native crypto wallet, I am not sure.

That is the most American looking bar it reminds me of movies and shows like Happy Days and American Graffiti. We use to have a diner chain like that called Johnny Rockets 50s looking diner good food, didn't look anything like the one you guys went to but long story short it got a modern update food wasn't as good or authentic and never went back since but that place there defiantly did their homework on authentic American diners.

Yeah, and it has Strobing Lights to DIE FOR! Not that it effects me, I just hate it! It's caused by cheap LED Bulbs that pulse at a low Mhz compared to the Camera. Sorry, I might have to miss this one - the Scottish Pub was great though!

We like Scotch, although Hungarian "pálinka" is better than Scotch whiskey. We'll see each other again at the football world cup, maybe. I tell Americans it's not "soccer" but "football"!!!

Eh, I was in Moscow when the first McDonalds opened up in 1990. That's what I consider the start of the decline of Russian culture.;) All jokes aside, your channel will probably grow more by focusing on what's unique to Russia: it's culture, it's history, it's architecture, it's literature. Of course, that's tough to do in Moscow, as everyone knows Moscow is not Russia.))) I did laugh out loud about the "juicy burger" comment. I was having lunch with my boss at the Starlite Diner on Mayakovskaya many years ago. We were in suits as we had a meeting with U.S. and Russian Ministry of Defense Representatives. As I bit into my "Starlite Cheeseburger," the juice shot out on to my shirt and tie. My boss immediately started laughing and said, "THAT's why I wanted you to bite into yours first." Needless to say, I finished the very delicious lunch and headed home for a quick change. Before I left Moscow, the Russian rapper Timati had some restaurants that made a very good burger. While Moscow become a bit flooded/tiresome with the 50s/60s style diners, I do have some fond memories of the Starlite (burgers for lunch and great breakfasts after a full night of partying) )))) Thank you for the nostalgic reminder.

Fried potatoes in a cast iron frying pan have long been the national dish of Russia. If you understand what result you need, then your result will always be at the level of a top chef. Visiting a good restaurant always means [as they say on the signs of French restaurants]: home cuisine.
