I don't see myself as particularly dim witted BUT those Brita instructions that came with my jug.Well, let's just say I seriously thought I'd lost the plot....it was like a road map written in a foreign language and THEN retranslated in code..I was praying someone kind had uploaded this exact type of video...thankyou so much from Australia 🇦🇺 😊

Thank you so much. I had a different brita jug and the set up was completely different to this one. Could never drink tap water again after using a brita. Cartridges are expensive but worth it IMO. I change mine every month but going to leave it longer now as it still takes like filtered water even when there are no bars on battery.

"crazy"? I disagree (of a sort). I prefer "adamant", "unyielding", "deluded". Calling them "crazy" could give them a free pass of a diagnosis from a Mental Health Professional. I think that the devotees are twerps, ranging from pitiful, to downright dangerous. Apologies. I am not picking on you in the least. I have almost daily exchanges with someone who is actively preparing for imminent global economic and societal meltdown. "Proof" is claimed for this mindset, with every group from The Rich to Religious factions as the accused. As you might imagine, It can be quite wearing. (I only intended replying to your comment because it's beautifully written and expresses my feelings about such a compact, helpful, public-spirited upload. I don't have Brita's paper instructions. Just some ambiguous/unfathomable (bewildering) pictograms on the cartridge packet. And as for your eloquent comment on the video...Bravo! 🙂.)

Same for me! The exchange indicator (timer) is for when the filter needs changing - as they need swapping out every month (I think)

THANK YOU ZRK - CLARITY at last! But one further question:- When using the filter-jug, does the filtered water-level need to be kept BELOW the filter - so the jug in fact pretty empty? That seems odd. But it would seem even odder - and illogical - if the ‘dirty’ filter is allowed to go on sitting in the water that it has ALREADY filtered! The (terrible) instructions don’t seem to cover this surely-vital point at all? Can you help and clarify? THANKS again.

I washed my new filter out 100 times just to make sure...The water tasted fantastic on the 101 filtration .On The 102nd fill the water tasted putrid..So I threw the old filter away and started the whole procedure again...Wow what a fantastic filter system I recommend it to anyone who has nothing better to do with there life ..😆
