Whenever I followed other tutorials, they would never emphasize on the settings that one must do in order to be able to turn the ps4 on via internet and all the other stuff. They would just show how to do remote play and that's it. This video here is exactly what I was looking for!

Great video, with only one thing missing from being mentioned. I don’t know if others struggled with this too, but my Vita wasn’t automatically finding my iPhone to use for the hotspot. I had to manually enter the phone hotspot info for it to work (and it took me quite a few attempts for whatever reason). Thanks for the upload!

Good video, but I have a question... Can I still do it from a different country? I mean, my ps4 is in the States while I'm in Australia?

Since a hot spot is basically a secondary wifi would you be able to login to a friends wifi at their house and play your games on your vita at a friends house or work if your PS4 is still connected to internet at home???

USSR my best friend whos 11 plays it, his older sister whos 18+ plays Nintendo too, my brother has TWO Wiis and I, 13 years old, have a wii and soon a nintendo Switch. 5 year olds on the other hand can't even play without breaking them if not supervised.

They never tell you, but you need to have your ps4 connected via lan cable

If your connected to a different WiFi with ur ps vita, will u be able to connect to ur PS4 if the 2 are in a different house?

Good video but you're mistaken when you think that it connected via your hotspot. When you have connect directly to ps4 enabled it connects directly to your ps4 via adhoc (the ps4 is making its own wifi signal) so actually you were still connecting directly to your ps4 even when you were connected to your mobile hotspot. That's why the screen of the vita never did say searching via internet because it found it via local adhoc. So if you want to connect via internet when you're still in the same room as the ps4 you'll need to uncheck the connect directly to ps4 check box.
