Remote play used to work perfect for turning on my PS4 and playing games on my home network until recently. Now my PS4 has to be either on or in standby mode for remote play to work.
never though I'd use this, but actually comes in quite handy
I'm happy I got mines japan version(white, blue ice), jailbroken verity of games. Psp was ahead of its time, I consider it the Rolls-Royce of handheld considering when it came out.

If u use remote play in ur home, tick the box that says (connect directly to ps4) and it works alot better

The rear Touchpad is used for L2, R2, L3 and R3

i had try it with killzone shadow fall and in the game they said me i should press r2 and im not sure but i think a psvita dont have r2

But you can't play vita games on the ps4 remote play. Sucks like the new sony handheld.

Still flakey after all the updates, must be the weak WiFi on that vita! Just pray you have a top notch router anywhere you go or this awesome feature is useless... Nice try Sony, but needs a lot of work!

Remote play has been attempted for decades, and every attempt failed. Onlive failed. Google Stadia failed a decade later. There is a ton of stuff that has to be done behind the scenes for remote play to work, and that has to be done in a timeframe of a few milliseconds, otherwise it defeats the purpose.

It's really amazing. The trick is to make sure that you directly connect with your ps4 not over wifi. Then it works way better

If you're connected to an lte network too, as long as your vita is connected to the Internet it works; just KZread videos such as. Ps vita remote play lte. Thumb up so others can see.
