Did the mod. It feels nice, and things I thought I would keep (the extra tip magnets) I actually decided to get rid of. I essentially did the exact same, except for the fact that I used Angstrom Dignitas for the core and a mix of Dayan lube and Moyu V2 lube on the pieces. (Those are the only lubes I have, dignitas on pieces is bad, and just Dayan was too slow so I put Dayan + moyu v2 on the pieces)
I like all of his premium puzzles

To be honest, I just did it the first time I sent one up and I really liked the feel so I kept doing it. Since the springs are pretty stiff on this puzzle, I wanted to give them a bit of extra room to move, and because the washers weren't in a place that would reduce plastic wear anyway, I decided to remove them

@@StevenWintringham Sounds reasonable to me, seems like you thought through the setup well; thank you for the response. That does kind of make me question why the puzzle comes with washers in the first place if they don't seem to serve a helpful function, though.

@@Danielsbigfish they can still reduce spring noise, but I use enough lube that that's not an issue
What cube should i get? 356m with addictional GES's or 11 m duo
