This actually made me aware of my preferences, since my long-time mains have been the Bell v1, the Huanglong, the Mr. M, and the YLM while I've been unsuccessful in using the Bell v2, Gan, and Weilong (you really hit the nail on the head) I main this one new batch that Elyas did some witchcraft to to make good, and I definitely prefer it to the Weilongs I've tried

To anyone, who already have a bell v1/v2 I say the tips of the ylm are far better than the bell v2, but not as good as the v1 The turning feels between the both, the corner cutting its pretty good If you lock up with the v2 you can change to the ylm if you currently main the v1, id recommend it if you want a lighter magnet strength

Mine can’t even reverse corner cut

My pyraminx is X-Man Bell V2 and ill say is very good for its money.

I think it’s really good too (I mained it for a while), but there is really mixed feelings about the puzzle where some people love it and some people despise it.

Where you talking about the Stevens weilong1 or weilong 2 pyra

The 1, I haven't tried the 2, although I think the difference is mainly the tips, which although a nice upgrade, don't sway things for me as I also prefer the body of the ylm to the weilong.

Can I do Steven's setup to the new batch YLM? Will it work great?

Yeah it works just as well as on an old batch. The only change I make is sometimes I remove 2 magnets from the tips rather than just 1, I'd try both because new batches can be a bit inconsistent
