How To Set Up Wyze Cam OG

In this video we teach you how to set up the Wyze Cam OG. The Wyze Cam OG was just launched in 2023 and is an updated version of the Original Wyze Cam.

The Wyze Cam OG has both day and night vision and 1080HD resolution. It also includes 2 way communication with a built in microphone and speaker. The Wyze Cam OG is also weather resistant so it can be placed indoors or outdoors.
The mount the Wyze Cam OG comes with allows you to set up the Wyze Cam OG as a free standing cam or mount the camera to a wall.
To Set Up Wyze Cam OG:
1. Download the Wyze Cam App & set up a username and password and login.
2. Plug in and power up the Wyze Cam OG.
3. Click the + Symbol on the Wyze Cam app to setup and add the Wyze Cam OG.
4. Follow the instructions on the app to set up the Wyze Cam OG and set up the Wyze app settings.
What I like about the Wyze Cam OG was it's easy set up, low price point and good resolution and motion detection for the price point. Also the ability to use SD cards on the camera to locally record footage is great feature.

Wow! Thanx for this video. I just got the Wyze Cam GO yesterday. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get mine to connect to my network (or via Bluetooth) because it's a 5Ghz system. This camera doesn't work with the higher network "connection". Sending it back.

You will need 2.4 ghz try getting a wifi extension box that goes to 2.4gh is what most
The wyze cam ok doesn't even as so much come up as an option when I click on add device under cameras, nor when I type it in manually. And they wanted me to pay an extra 3.33 a month, and give my address. Is any of that normal? Still can't use my cam.
Why doesn't the spotlight come on at night when it picks up motion? Yes it is on but I can't get it to come on. I have all the detection zones in place also. I may have to get my money back I don't know what else to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Question: Why doesn't Wyze offer owners manuals online? This is 2023 and "we have the technology". I never buy anything technical without reading the owners manual for the "gotchas". I want to read about the options for different recording modes and to find out what the heck could be meant by a "16mB picture" coming from a 2mB sensor.

How come I don't get a notification when there is a motion
I will need notifications when i am outside
It only works if it's plugged in 😮
Why can't I connect to the network? When doing the setup, It says it can not connect to the network.

Connect to the wifi that is 2.5 ghz. Most internet companies offer 2.5 and 5

It comes with a mount on the bottom of the camera. You just snap it off the bottom, screw it in place on a wall with the two screws and then snap the camera in place on the mount. The detail picture here shows how it can be mounted: amzn.to/3YbdquI

Just don't use a 32g SD card in the OG it won't allow it
