Small correction, reportedly the bottom screw is not a 1/4-20 thread so no, it will not work with tripod/camera mounts.

I like the little pigtail, because now I can plug in a longer USB cable. I have ten footers layin' around to be able to reach my outdoor outlet. The 6 footer it comes with is too short for my application 👍. I watch your videos, will be watching when you get the telephoto

Thanks for the upload. I like the price and the spotlight on the Wyze OG camera. I’m hoping for some kind of bundle with both cameras when the stack kit is available.

I am glad you said this, i have been a user since the v2 and its extremely disappointing they did this. I was going to subscribe to cam plus anyways but the fact it only take pics without the subscription is awful

Wow I wont buy it now ..The only reason to buy the Wyze cams were for the free recording ..Now its worthless ..There are better cams out there for sure ..

How can you put it to color vision at night time instead looking at black and white.?

Yeah, I noticed that setting was enabled but it was still black and white. Seems to happen to me a lot with the Wyze cameras. The color night vision working is hit or miss.

are you able to remotly move the camera left and right?

No, This one is fixed when you set it. Look up the Wyze Cam Pan V3. That one you can remotely move the camera left, right, up and down and it is only $40.

Is the recorded audio really that low? It didn't sound great at all, and it appeared that you were only a couple feet away from the microphone. Thanks for the video!

Yes, the audio is what it recorded. I didn't turn it up or down. The speaker test was done was a separate room.

How can I see what happened before? Does the camera has VIEW PLAYBACK ?

With the SD Card, yes. Just select the SD Card and you can view anything that happened.

Remember the light is not so you can see better it's so the camera can see better.

Wyze cam OG using the SD card how do you delete old Footage. The salesman at best buy told me you had to take the SD card out And put it in your Computer Do you know the answer?

No, it loop records. So once it's full, it deleted the older day and then records the new day.

ve been a Wyze cam customer for about 4 years do not purchase the Wyze cam OG. It appears as if Wyze has forgotten where they came from, a great cam a great service will be no more again do not purchase the Wyze cam OG you do not get the same benefits from the original cam.....no Cam Plus Lite service 👎 and that 😞
