You should know your belt clip is backwards. Probably better for holding the hot shoe mount though

Hey thanks for mentioning this. I usually mount the receiver on my hot/cold shoe (which is why mounted the clip that way) but this is a good point worth bringing up. I'll pin it up for others to see.

Good video, thanks! I've used the EW G4's for more than 4 years and never realized there were cold/hot shoe mounts included in the package, hahaha... This makes rigging a bit easier :)

It kept me from imploding. It is a VERY poor design by Sennheiser.

Not sure which country you live in but Amazon Canada has a few replacements www.amazon.ca/dp/B000IE68CM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_12ARYA19MJ2Y1WYMKHVK Seems to be tough to find. BH has this “shoe mount adapter” but I’m not sure if it will fit your G3 transmitter: www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/328035-REG/Sennheiser_CA2_CA2_Shoemount_Adapter.html

@@JeremyY Jeremy you rock! I determined my difficulty in finding the clip was that I was using the wrong terminology for it. I have been trying to find this part for almost a year, but with no success. Once I found the correct term, I quickly found the clip on Amazon. I ordered it last night, and it will be delivered today. I live in Sacramento. Thanks again Jeremy, I owe you big time!

My hotshoe mount broke, is there anywhere to get a replacement one? It uses a way skinnier screw size.

I thought hot shoe means the sound travels direct from receiver through mount into camera this looks like a cold shoe mount only, correct?

this adapter seems preferable to the shoelace-duct tape method i've been using
