Good tutorial. At the very end if you get your signal from the right channel of the Yamaha mixer & send it to the other speaker, you'd get stereo unless you purposely wanted mono therefore you got your signal from the closer speaker. I have the same mixer & it is excellent.

This is an excellent video! I’m a DJ looking at these with the same use in mind. For ceremonies, which lapel mic unit do you like using for these? I’ve seen both the Sennheiser ME2 and ME4 online but unsure which or if any other lapel mic is better for ceremonies particularly. Thanks!!

Hey Brian-thanks for the love. The mixer features in this video has two line/mic inputs that I used one of them to plug in the receiver. There is a pad on each channel to add or subtract 26 db gain, and with a mic, you want to leave the pad up not down. Feel free to search KZread for videos on the Yamaha MG06X-it’s small but very capable! Have a good one.

You always connect the transmitter pack to where the audio is coming from. In the case of a remote speaker, plug the female xlr into the male xlr output on you speaker (should be next to your inputs). I hope that answers your question. Let me know if you need anything else, as I hope I read the question correctly.

I got these for my guitar pedalboard that I travel with. This video definitely helped with setting these up easily. I still seem to get dropouts randomly but I’m thinking it’s due to the receiver being on the ground on a pedalboard instead of being elevated at least to the height of my waist. I’m guessing that due to line of sight being 300m and the antenna not being a larger one like my racked Shure SLX-D which I’ve never had any issues with ever and have played some bigger shows with. Their specs are roughly the same and on the same band (H55) so I’m guessing the issue is due to receiver being on the pedalboard instead of elevated but I have no idea. It works perfectly in rehearsal/soundcheck.

Sometimes the new frequency selected for you with Easy Setup is not the best frequency. You'll have to try new frequencies manually to see which one will connect properly without the static interference. Changing out the batteries to fresh new ones will also help.

this is NOT the intended use for wireless IEM systems. 1. The belt packs are not outputting 20hz-20khz for starters. 2. The signal coming out of the belt pack is a high impedance amplified headphone signal, NOT line or mic level. This will over time cause damage to your PA. 3. The belt packs have phase response that is not suitable for the use that your are demonstrating. 4. There is a latency time that applies to wireless. 5. interruptions to the to the RF band your on can and will occur, and have potential to stop your show and in rare cases, to kill your PA. Basically everything about this is wrong. and anyone wishing to replicated this is doing so at their own risk, or potentially risking someone else's gear. and finally, if you use a better mixer with better Dad's on the input and outputs, and which are using less noisy, more sensitive and responsive components, the audio coming out of your belt pack will be several orders of magnitude better.

@@discoverdevlin2289 those were not fighting words. Just education, so that you can get the best quality audio possible with your setup. The correct way is to use high bandwidth point to point microwave links. These are polarised p2p links with line of sight range good for a few klm. With your mobile setup, I’m actually confused as to why you would even need wireless, since the PA system you are using already requires power cables, it is already technically not a wireless system. Using iem system as a p2p wireless link is similar to using a walk-in-talkie instead of a wireless mic. It might be A solution, but it is by a wide margin the least best solution possible.
