This tutorial will show you how to set up bump maps in Blender. Bump maps give the illusion of extra details on surfaces. The process involves adding height information to the image of the object so that it appears more realistic when rendered. Bump mapping is one of the most basic ways of adding tiny details to a 3D model.

The way you made it look as easy as a piece of cake was amazing, I was wondering if you could make part 2 of this where can teach the whole animation and lighting process 🪷

22:40 - If you use an RGB Curves nodes instead of a color ramp, you can get even more control over the bevel of the bump map, including being able to shape it.

You can search for alpha brushes for sculpting and use them as bump maps. Overall any b&w image would work if it has enough resolution if you want to make close up renders.
