  • @jacobfausnight1180

    I suggest adding another turbine using a root combiner and have more than one turbine feeding the battery as turbines do not always output 150 power, turbine power output can go very low. With your 9 auto-turrets you are using 90 power and that's not including the e-branches or splitters that you may be using. If you are using the whole 100 power output from the large battery, you will need an average of 125 power input for the large battery to keep it charged always. Batteries only charge 80% of their power input. So if you have 100 power going in, only 80 power will charge the battery. Hope this helps

  • @LuxLiveGame

    @LuxLiveGame

    @grumpyq8090 no, it's not really is a backup circuit. It simply divides batteries in packs, in my defense circuit I created 2 battery pack of 3 large battery, connected to 12 turrets, and 3 SAM SITES. Now, i can power all this with a branch from root power, and at the same time charging the 6 large batteries from what's left. If the windmills are broken, battery pack A starts, when battery pack A runs out of energy battery pack B activates which extended the autonomy of exactly the double. Even more, I integrated and upgraded a circuit that uses generators as last resource, so, if both packs runs out of batteries, generator starts automatically, and automatically stops when batteries gain enough power.

    Жыл бұрын

    actually the 2 responses you got both give correct information but neither answer your question. The reason why you only get 95 output is because your not running your devices using power from windmill nor both the batteries combined but instead you are using one battery at a time. even if you have 10 windmills (1500 combined power) going to one battery, that battery still can only output 100 power MAX minus the electrical components used between battery and devices needing power. With this he is using 2 windmills to charge one battery at a time while the other is discharging. Once the active battery is dead it stops blocking the charging battery. the charging battery now becomes the active battery and blocks the other battery which now goes into charging mode. therefore you only have one active battery at once.
