Salut! I wonder if there was a consequence for selling handmade products on Etsy? For example I want to try to sell something that I made, but I don't know if I will get payments regularly. That's why I don't want to set up an SRL company because of that will cost too much. By the way, I am non-EU citizen and I will come to Romania to work for a company. And last question, can I set up an SRL later while working for another company? You are pretty helpful. Thank you for the English contents about the starting business in Romania. ❤

Hello! Unfortunately in Romania there is no in between. You either open a business (SRL, PFA) and get revenue. Or you do not get any commercial revenue and do not open a business.

but how do I set up an srl , is it actually in the trade register or is everything online ? because I found some documents that I need to fill in the onrc but can't find where to submit them.

You can submit them online at onrc.ro. But you need electronic signature and, to be honest, it can be quite complicated even for Romanian speaking people. The website is not very intuitive

If you set up an SRL can you take out dividends the first year? Can you take out dividends already after three months and then each third month?

I live in United Arab Emirates and holding an Pakistan passport. How much does your service cost? And Let’s say I provide you with a power of attorney and everything is set up, does this automatically grant access to the country and so I would apply for residency based on being a business owner? Hello! They can work in pretty much any field, as long as somebody is willing to employ them. But only part time. The racism thing is a bit more complicated. In big cities like Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and such it should not be a problem because they are more exposed to foreigners
