So I get the disassembly and reassembly. Do the parts go through any type cleaning or lubrication while reassembling like you would for a mechanical movement?

Hey SolidBD, great video! I've got a problem with the service of VD55B movement, is there any chance of showing that type particularly or the placement of the parts is similar to the VD57 like in the video?

Hi solim one more spectacular video from you and also an applause from the heart of your repairing skill. One little query from my side these movts with plastic wheels do they work properly after servicing. Normally we were advised to replace such movts for repair instead of repair like fully metal movts

Thanks for your comment. We do also same thing. We also recommend to replace this types of movement but some situation we try first to repair but if It's not work with servicing then we also change whole movemnet. It depends on situation but better to Replace.

Oh man how cool is that having just received a very uncommon Lorus VD57 in the long rectangle case yesterday and a Pulsar VD53 just before Xmas so going to be watching both your vids :) I also have a fainting YM92, brand new Pulsar YM92 in the gold and swarovski and it keeps stopping so hoping to glean some goodies on how to fix that too :D

It's all made of plastic gear and there's no jewelry. Is it durable?

It happens for the several reasons. Without observing physically, it couldn't be sure. Please go to nearest authorized service center. I think they will look after
