How To Sell a Fake Disease (And Then More Drugs) | Big Pharma Documentary

To sell a cure, first you need to sell the disease. According to some research, pharmaceutical companies are medicalising normal conditions, like the menopause, promoting non-existent diseases, and transforming mild problems into serious conditions that need treatment.
Twenty years ago, few people worried about their cholesterol level. Today, thanks to the pharmaceutical companies, high cholesterol levels are recognized as a major health problem and two of the best-selling drugs are statin reducers. Disease branding can destigmatize shameful problems, transforming incontinence into an ‘overactive bladder’, and encouraging people to seek treatment. But it can also put healthy people at risk, leading to them taking medicines with potentially dangerous side effects.
This documentary was first released in 2012.

I am from NZ..New Zealand. Metabolic Syndrome..this is something created by Pharmaceutical industry..As I remember as a young kid .. growing in the 60s/70s era..There was very little problems with obesity, diabetes was hardly heard of, Cancer hardly heard of..You didn't see a lot junk food around, Grandmothers and mothers..did baking from scratch, make ng homemade jams, home cooked meals.. absolutely delicious and healthy, nutrition...many a treats, but no obesity was widespread..Today is you look every ..Obesity , Cancer, Diabetes, . every one all over the world is on some kind of medicine, medications.. unnecessary..How Many Cancers do we have now..??.. Preservatives in every food....Additives, . Emulsifiers, Sodium, Pharmacy is making money..by keeping people medicated..Every Worldwide leaders..they are talking about the Obesity Cancer, Epidemics..but nobody is doing anything about it..The Whole World is A Continued Trainwreck of Obesity..Fat Adults, Fat Chubby Children... Everyone talks about it..Experts Talk about..bit nothing gets done about it..Fastfood chains everywhere... Pharmaceutical companies..and doctors lead people to believe they need these medicines because of The metabolic Syndrome epidemic...The True Solutions is get rid of all these Fastfood chains everywhere all over the world..seeing people stuffing their faces with all the unhealthy food..is Sad...Where does it end... People should also realize..that some of the drugs made by Pharmaceutical industry is Cancer causing...but every one led to believe they are pills that make you well..if you are and individual with many different medications for certain conditions..Think about it..if you are taking up to 15/20 Tablets daily..and wander why suddenly your body blows up..and you are full of fluids in parts of your body..you have (Edema.fluid retention).. I know what I am talking about..I in September of 2019.. suffered a massive heart Attack..I was rushed to the hospital..I was on 26 tablets per day, 52 units of Insulin twice daily..I was and am blessed to still be alive..my own doctor would not listen to me..I now have a new personal doctor who does listen..I was drained of 29 litres of fluids from my body..and my medication pills reduced to 5 pills daily as well as my insulin reduced to 12 units twice daily..boy it feels so good to be able to breathe and sleep..and walk ..so people out there question why you are taking these medications and why..?..what are they for..and think about what you are eating.. Pharmaceutical industry is the reason people are dying....I wish I had the Power to Stop what is happening to innocent people.. Adults, Children..all because Pharmaceutical industry have the Power..And Leaders all over the World are not looking after the People..Experts talk about it..But no one Actions it ..Stops it..

I recall when several psychiatrist were asked that based upon the data present within the DSM-5, does everyone on the planet qualify as having a mental illness, the answer was, YES. Then there was further discussion about drugs whose patent had expired, and thus cheaper generic drugs could hit the shelves in their place. In this case, when the patent expired, the drug company altered the drug just a tad, gave it a new name, then invented a new mental illness which was then added to the next revision of the DSM that was to relate to this new drug as a recommended drug for this illness.

My wife has been diagnosed with fibro. I asked the Dr about how they concluded that she had it, and the Dr said that there is no test that can tell she has it. Fibro is determined by the elimination of several other possible problems. It isn't this, or this, or this, so it must be this. So, in other words, they made up a disease to describe the lack of other diseases. Needless to say, my wife bought it hook line and sinker. I've tried over and over again to convince her to make some serious lifestyle changes like diet and exercise, but she'd rather just deal with this “confition”. The whole thing is a crock of sh!t.

Don't complain if you get type two diabetes and then spend shitloads of money on pills, needles and insulin, it was your fault. Yet again, another example of why we should end the monetary system entirely and permanently. Not to usher in some kind of utopia. To change the incentive to change the behavior that results. Money has broken our incentive system. And, as an added bonus, it allows the worst of human nature to be in charge of everyone. The only way we fix this is by walking away from the monetary system altogether. If we don't end money, money will end us. I'm not being hyperbolic. I don't have a doomer view of the world. I have a practical one. It is possible for humans to become extinct. And i fully believe that we are facing possible extinction due to fertility loss. If we can't breed, we die. Our fertility is already down 40-50%, and that's just since the 90s. That's not the birth rate, which has many other factors that need to be considered. That's just our fertility, our ability to procreate. Which is rapidly reducing. And almost nobody is talking about this, at least in the mainstream. There are plenty of scientists and doctors outside of the mainstream that are. Have been for a while now. If the mainstream reported on this, people would want an answer. And the powers that be would lose a lot of money if we actually got to the root cause of this. It's probably the synthetic hormones that are used in plastic production. If we all knew what was happening, the economy would probably crash. So, this information is suppressed to save the economy. Please, really understand what i am saying. Human life is less important than the monetary economy. Humans serve the monetary economy instead of the monetary economy existing to help humans. And always remember that the more sick people we have, the higher our GDP is. Keeping the American dollar strong. It's no different in other countries. The saddest part of this? It's WE, the average citizens of the world, who are responsible for this. Global governments? Wealthy elites? The WEF? They don't have the numbers to make ANY demands at all. Less than 1% of the global population isn't enough to force compliance. WE do that on their behalf. They rely on we average citizens to force compliance. And force compliance we do. Wait, there is something worse. We do this, we force compliance on each other so that the wealthy can keep being wealthy. Money doesn't really seem to have any other purpose, despite the lies we are told our entire lives. Money exists to keep the wealthy, wealthy. Nothing more. End money, adopt a natural resource based economy instead. And finally move forward instead of running around in circles, fighting the same battles that our ancestors fought, and won, by the way. Yet, here we are again. This isn't human progress, it's human stagnation. Aren't we tired of this yet? Because we absolutely should be.

It's always been a big scam. Back in the 80's my Mom was prescribed, the new osteoarthritis miracle drug, called froben. Yes it was a miracle alright, gave her a stomach ulcer, and her stomach burst open. If it hadn't been for the fact that my sister was off work that day, by the time we would all have gotten home at 6pm she would have been dead. As this happened about an hour after we had gone to work, and she was in that much pain she couldn't move to get help. I believe all drugs are designed to keep us ill, to make big pharmas money coming in. Not long after my Mom had the stomach ulcer, the drug was withdrawn, due to medical concerns. So I am wondering how many people died who had taken it. My Mom was very lucky, that there was someone around when this happened to her.

Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disorder characterized by low bone mass, micro-architectural deterioration of bone tissue leading to bone fragility, and consequent increase in fracture risk. It is the most common reason for a broken bone among the elderly. Bones that commonly break include the vertebrae in the spine, the bones of the forearm, and the hip. Until a broken bone occurs there are typically no symptoms. Bones may weaken to such a degree that a break may occur with minor stress or spontaneously. After the broken bone heals, the person may have chronic pain and a decreased ability to carry out normal activities. Osteoporosis may be due to lower-than-normal maximum bone mass and greater-than-normal bone loss. Bone loss increases after the menopause due to lower levels of estrogen, and after 'andropause' due to lower levels of testosterone. Osteoporosis may also occur due to a number of diseases or treatments, including alcoholism, anorexia, hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, and surgical removal of the ovaries. Certain medications increase the rate of bone loss, including some anti-seizure medications, chemotherapy, proton pump inhibitors, selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors, and glucocorticosteroids. Smoking, and too little exercise are also risk factors. Osteoporosis is defined as a bone density of 2.5 standard deviations below that of a young adult. This is typically measured by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA or DEXA). Prevention of osteoporosis includes a proper diet during childhood, hormone replacement therapy for menopausal women, and efforts to avoid medications that increase the rate of bone loss. Efforts to prevent broken bones in those with osteoporosis include a good diet, exercise, and fall prevention. Lifestyle changes such as stopping smoking and not drinking alcohol may help. Bisphosphonate medications are useful to decrease future broken bones in those with previous broken bones due to osteoporosis. In those with osteoporosis but no previous broken bones, they are less effective. They do not appear to affect the risk of death. Osteoporosis becomes more common with age. About 15% of Caucasians in their 50s and 70% of those over 80 are affected. It is more common in women than men. In the developed world, depending on the method of diagnosis, 2% to 8% of males and 9% to 38% of females are affected. Rates of disease in the developing world are unclear. About 22 million women and 5.5 million men in the European Union had osteoporosis in 2010. In the United States in 2010, about 8 million women and between 1 and 2 million men had osteoporosis. White and Asian people are at greater risk. The word "osteoporosis" is from the Greek terms for "porous bones".

The purpose of it, however, was to get the masses to accept an injection that Yuval Harari has been bragging can "hack humans", for about 9 years now. (The Biblical Mark of the Beast) "Once WE get the masses to accept mandatory vaccination, it's game over." - Henry Kissinger, the traitor who deliberately botched Vietnam, WEF "We must curtail the earth population to 500M, by 2030" - Schwab of the WEF on Agenda 2030 aka Davos Agenda (Davos, Ukraine 🇺🇦) (that's 6.5 billion deaths in 7 years) "It's you they are coming for. Just treatments are varied and work for one may not work for another. We shouldn't really put any method down incase it works for someone else. This is plegiarised from France's Java Films. If this was genuine (original) WHERE are the credits both beginning and ending? There none! Shows that someone has stolen these documentaries for KZread uploading and wish to PROFIT off of them! This is copyright infringement and in most countries considered a FELONY (even in France)! I don't like dishonesty! if you just carried the documentary COMPLETE with the original credits, that would be one thing. I know better, France like the rest of the world TTLES and places credits on their work (I am due soon to do documentarty work myself, thus I KNOW the industry). I cannot be fooled by a video totally devoid of any title as well as credits! THIS IS THEFT! Can't fool me! Many a motoive to make KZread the SOLE source so as to rip people off! This is scorned internationally through copyright Law! This is why I gave a thumbs down and shan't be subscribing anytime soon, I don't support dishonest criminals! the one here who uploaded to YT IS a criminal! Olus whoever uploaded this video is STUPID! Down in the lower right is the 'bug' or copyguard of Java Films from France! NOT Java Documentaries! Also HOW can the viewer AUTHENTICATE the Français? Thishas been dubbed over and the accuracy is in question as the French is censored insteadof subtitling, and totally dubbedin phoney Britich but American English! Thhis hhas TOTALLY ruined this documentary! I looked up and there IS an actual website a français called Java Films, all in French! I did watch this, but I cannot trust the accuracy of the dubbing over le français.

How stupid should be the author, speaking on metabolic syndrome as a scam?... You should understand that it is just an approach in medicine to put a bunch of symptoms (some times in different combinations) and name them by the author or in annother manner, just to avoid each time naming all of it's constituens, but instead of it naming the name of syndrome... Please, educate yourself, instead of following hype.
