Thanks your Thoughts on holding to a position is very true. The same way there is no reason all the stock we choose have to move and make a rally. When my position pops up with 10 or 20% profit should i need to exit partially or hold the trailing Sl. I asking this because i could be in a open risk of 20% rather than 1% per trade.

Hi Raunak sir, hope you and your fur babies are keeping well :) I have a question around the Pricol chart that you analyzed. Can you please see below some of the details and let me know if my understanding regarding the Pulback trading method is correct: If i view the Pricol structure while applying the pullback trading basics i wouldnt have taken this trade as the red candle on 4th July 2023 would have breached the swing low that i would have marked based on the count method. Here is how i am seeing this: - An existing uptrend from 21st March to 28th April - The high created at 2nd May, post which i will start my counts - My 20th count would be the candle at 30 May - The swing low for me would be the end of tail for the candle printed on 5th May

Good morning, one question I mostly trade in the momentum way and my entry points are based on patterns , I don't increase number of stocks more than 10-15 ,so that I can have decent allocation, generally > 8-10% . Once I get my positions filled than also I find many breakouts based on patterns, Is it wise to trade it for quick gains of 5-7% . What I do is , I kept 20% of my capital for playing such short time moves only. Doubt is simple , will it affect my normal trading style? Or I should continue doing this. Mostly this breakout moves are limited to intraday to 2-3 days at most. This gives me edge sometimes with some extra gains, but I want to know If this can hamper my longer term performance.

Sir i am doing trading by keeping swing trading in my mind but i end up holding winning stock for at least 2 months for gains like 7-10%. In this rally also i am with unrealized 9% up on my whole account. I saw that people make 10 - 20% in a month in swing trading but that seems impossible with cash. Is it my approach is wrong or its okay.

Start with nifty and banknifty ETFS. Start accumulating the moment you see the indices are breaking below 50dma. Switch to monthly charts for top tier blue chip companies who have a solid up trend charts. Usually they would pull back to 10, 20ma and consolidate. Start buying 1 shares when you see that and continue doing the SIP mode. There are still few good companies who have done nothing but consolidated for the last 1.5 to 2 years in BANKING, IT etc. You need to allocate your money wisely and take reasonable bets. Greed and fear needs to be balanced in this game. That you need to learn from your own experience. Difficult to get it from videos.
