Tejkrful, YOU did nothing wrong. The person you met was complicated and had complications probably. Also its a good thing that happened to you, even though it hurt you, because he is likely to do that to anyone who he meets, and especially if he marries someone. Anyone who makes big promises and then lets you down is doing it out of habit, and is lost themselves. Men who are 'aware' of themselves and worth keeping don't do that. In your mind, kick him to the curb and find someone worthy, you sound like a good heart so give it to a good man. xxx

We had a great night . We slept together on the first hangout . The only thing i asked him is how will he act when we go bck to work he said regular. He mentioned earlier that he didnt ask pple for their numbers he also asked me if I block pple. Anyways fast forward, the sex happened i enjoyed it he seemed to enjoy it and initiated / asked for another round. Next morning he was cranky still tired and i left quite quickly he never once asked me for my number. Ill see him in a week at work , thanks for this advice .. I do like him its not just lust and even tho i was a little worried you reassured me. Ill act normal with a smile and still friendly to him & ill be patient.

My long distance boyfriend of 4 months said "he didn't feel the connection" and its felt "best to remain friends", because "he cant give me what i want" as "he doesn't want a relationship" or a commitment, he wants to explore an open kinda relationship but i wont fit into that because im simple and reserved. He said this after a meeting for a few hours and having a fun time and getting intimate on our first meeting. Clearly a shock after being involved and being into each other in a 4 months emotional connection where he had said he is open to longterm relationship and exclusivity. Devastating response after a much awaited meeting. I am still wondering what went wrong?

It probably was mostly the long distance. He may have been seeing someone and fell for them in between the times you couldn’t see him due to distance.

Same. Except it was 9 months, and he drummed up the relationship as progressing to marriage. Then when I flew home. It was no it won't work because of small excuses. I feel terrible.

Ok, either I'm a wierd guy or this is not accurate. If a girl was interested in me and she was theoretically my type, all she would need to do after we had sex, is not making a big deal out of it and be sincerely interested in me and spending time with me. She's free to text me if she wants to hang out, she's free to just chat or call me and talk about stuff and we could have sex again without it driving me away. Only thing she should not do, is make a big deal out ouf it, being pushy towards a relationship and taking the sex for more than it is, just sex. Also, if she was playing games, or being challenging or making herself rare or whatever, I'd lose interest immediately. If she's chill, interesting and interested in me, it won't be long before I'll ask her out.
