Bcuz it wasn’t intimacy. Lust is typically considered to be intimacy. He was intimate with you for a session and then went away. There’s another term for it. It’s called hit and run.

Exactly after they've had sex they go quiet and they don't pursue as much as they did before the sex. The guy I'm talking about I slept with him like 7 times but in between each episode he goes quiet for long periods

I always got offended when a man pulled away but they all did it so gaining this awareness helped me to realize our hormones are just reacting differently to sex , I used to overreact but as I got wiser I've calmed down and they always come back, if the sex was really good and he wasn't a complete asshole I would consider him again but for many it was just too late for them and they never got another chance with me again.

Sexual connection is great, but it's one part of the puzzle. It is so important to build emotional and mental connection too, and in advance of sex. So that there are other things besides sex that he misses about you and enjoys sharing with you.

If he had the idea that you only had sex with him because he really looks good or is very populair. Then he knows there's a big change once she gets to know him better they will breakup. And therefore zero contact means she hopefully won't be too emotional attached, and get the message that it was just a one nightstand. A descent guy doesn't have to have sex immidiately. He would want to, but he knows its better for the girl not to.

Thanks for the value information! I am not going to lie, is not easy trying to understand how men are. It’s like better to build that emotional connection first , and then sex , than sex first and not emotional connection because waiting for the guy to noticed you after giving your whole self, it’s pretty hard , specially when both have the same goals which is dating with purpose and I assume we building our relationship. I guess I will have to think like a man and act like a lady for now and on to protect myself .

What if I go into the gap and then after 2 weeks, i just tell him I wish him well! I had some intimacy and he told me that he's never felt that with anyone.. we just hung out one time. So.... then he pulls back. And I just want to completely pull away and let god handle the rest.

i was caught in the moment and slept with a guy who claimed to like me for years and someone i knew for 8 years. He texted me right after sex while i was on my way home but we got into an argument and he stopped reaching out. We always got into disagreements in the past few yrs. I wish and hope he will be contacting me after sex since he wanted me for sex since 8 yrs ago but i never gave in until 8 years later. I asked if he had feelings for me and he said yes then why wasnt him reaching out for over a month now? Help!!!

You won’t really know for sure unless he reaches out - and may never really say. By ghosting you, he is giving you prime information- he is immature and a coward. His loss! Often guys will ghost because they don’t want to really want to deal with the responsibility of hurting you when he’s actually hurting you. Take this as a lesson: be more discerning. Look for consistency in interest and communication - a guy who really likes you for you will reach out and plan dates. Words are lip service unless paired with consistent action. When it does: sleep with him. It’s not a perfect formula, but will reduce the likelihood of pain if he doesn’t call. Remember women are in control of the sexual process of the relationship and the man is in control of the emotional progress of the relationship; mostly. 😉

This makes sense. Although I do feel there is an emotional connection. I have known him for years and we got closer and ended up having intercourse. Thing is now I haven't heard off him for 6 days. Beforehand, we seemed to have an emotional connection and share the same hobbies, but now he's gone quiet. Should I be concerned about this or does it sound like he'll come back? It's very hard to tell. Is it normal for a man not to message for days? Thanks
