    Would be amazing having a relationship with someone that we can have an honest communication about our feelings and we don't need to feel like we're playing chess all the time. I'm exhausted

    I'm focusing so much on my life & myself that I'm exhausted. Dance class, road trips, long walks, doing my nails, studying for a work certification, etc... The only way to not obsess over these men I'm dating is to ensure not to scare them off is to be so darn busy. I even had to turn down a date with a cute guy because I'm just too busy! Plan the next 10 weekends!? I'm planning next weekend to turn my phone off and sleep all weekend!

    I think the main problem is the way we were educated. Women have to be nice, reliable, supportive etc. Then all the films etc. show us things that aren't real. If we had been shown to be independent and that it's good to follow our dreams, even if it means that we can play football like a boy, we would be less dependent from love. I'm trying to change some of the principles I learnt when I was a girl. Even my son told me that I don't need to answer messages immediately. I will do it only when girlfriends will write me. Women appreciate immediate support etc. With men it's different. Isn't that weird? The men we refuse, run after us.

    Good luck with that one! That's what I've thought all my life. Problem is, reality is just not like that. The reality is that probably 80 percent of men operate differently. The subconscious biological system is not at all what women are conditioned to believe. Took me a LONG time and many relationship coaching videos to get it through my thick head

    I’m not trying to get into a relationship because I want to be distant. For me the whole point of getting into a relationship is to be able to feel close to someone. If I have to change my lifestyle this much to keep him, maybe he’s not the right guy for me.

    I believe you are right to put distance between yourself and the guy. My person is young enough to be my son but I know he is attracted to me. Since he already claims we have a friendship..he makes no effort for us to get together plus there is so much more to this situation. I tried to end things last week but he would not have any of it. So I am taking things in my own hands and puttimy a lot of distance between us for months.

    Have found your videos very insightful, and appreciate how you break things down from different perspectives. One thing that I'm having trouble finding is situations like this where you need to incorporate distance, but how do you do that when you're trying to start a long distance relationship? Someone you've met once and trying to see where things go. Since it's not like you can go on regular dates, how do you know what's too much txt/communication and what's not enough? I did see the video you did with Mark about setting a future meetup. But what about the in between? Thanks!

  • @Soniaks

    @Soniaks

    Жыл бұрын

    Hopefully I can help, since you’re in a long distance relationship I think what you can do to incorporate distance is not always being available to text so quickly because you’re busy in your own life. You can create space there and same goes when your person wants to call you. Not always being available so easily and replying really quickly. Take your time when texting wait an hour or so sometimes and other times reply faster just don’t be predictable. When you do this he will miss you more. Of course don’t play games but actually create a schedule to keep your life interesting and busy like what was said in this video. I hope this was helpful! ❤

I always have great time with you) I met a guy ( btw I am 7 years older then him and have 2 kids and in the process of separation..He is single but he was living with someone last 5 years and they broke up 6 months ago & he said he doesn't date much.. he was the one who approached me & asked me out.. we had 2 friendly dates but we both felt the chemistry-attraction and he told me he likes me) after 2 dates he is ghosting me now (last 1 week no text messaging at all) One of your podcast with Helena you have advised " mirror his silence with silence 10 to 15 days " My Qs are 1- How come they say I like you but treating u this way 2- If he doesn't contact after 3 weeks Do u advise ladies to contact and ask some explanation ( even tho explanation just right front of us.. sorry I just lied or I'm not brave enough to face it " ) or even don`t bother and move on ? I really need your help, I have a boyfriend who cuts me off most times, he only calls or texts me when he wants me to be at his place, after that he goes mute., I always try to communicate with him but he does not put in the the effort to call when he finds my missed calls nor text back after he gets messages from me, but he is the sweetest man I have ever met, so how do I make him communicate with me more often?

    We still live together but don't see each other much. He works evenings. So I see him for 1 hour before he leaves. Then on Friday and Saturday since he decided to split, he stays out drinking and sleeps at friends. They don't know that we have split, he hasn't told them. He says they just think he's having a good drink and can't drive home..Why hasn't he told them? How do I create the distance?

    Hi there, I know coach Alex would love to help you with this but he would need to know a little more about what you're going through in order to help you through this. I would highly suggest you book a coaching session with him using this link; www.frenchrelationshipexpert.com/coaching/ -FRE Team

    I just left a connection due to something similar. Granted me don’t live together, I realized it isn’t wrong or clingy to want to spend time with someone I’m dating and sleeping with. Of course, having our own lives is crucial. But when you see them actively choosing anything above spending time with you.. don’t you think you deserve more?🥹❤️ this realization helped me remain steadfast in my decision to take a break.

    @@FrenchRelationshipExpert Because he will go back to ghosting me again. Am I supposed to not ever have sex with him? I will tell him next time that I will give him his space. It’s been over a week and he has not contacted me at all and I have not tried to contact him except this one game I play and it was only once and it’s a gaming app. That’s all. Eventually he’ll probably contact me again. I don’t get why he ghosts so hard.

    There’s absolutely nothing on your advice that is authentic . To be vulnerable is to be human. Tactics, strategies, manipulating and calculating situations are the opposite of what love and care embodies. If the guy doesn’t reciprocate an effort , he’s just not the right one.

    Love is different from attraction. Love is not a game but attraction is. Attraction is based on human nature whether you like it or not. It's not fair and it's a bit messy. That's life.
