How to See Cape Town's Penguins
When you think of Africa... you probably don't think of penguins. Yet South Africa is home to the largest population of these small cute African penguins. A breed that has a storied history in Cape Town but has been pushed to the brink of extinction. In this video we go in search for the infamous penguin beach (Boulder Beach) in Simon's Town and get up close and personal with these fascinating birds. The penguins are cute, friendly (kinda?), and a little smelly, but definitely worth visiting if you're coming to Cape Town.

Travelwithchris you wont be sorry. Cape Town is amazing with lots to do and see. Maybe I am biased because its also my city. But I have been to many cities and Cape Town is still number one

There are two entrances. One entrance is for the sanctuary where you can observe the nesting spots from a wooden walkway, and the other is the beach entrance. The beach entrance is separate and is about 3 minutes around the corner. The staff at the main entrance can point you down the right path.
