    Simple and effective without the long winded explanations found in other tuts. Best part is, it actually works exactly like what I'm seeing from your tut. Like sub.

    Thanks so much! Really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and subscribing. Are you speaking of something that you would 3d Print or something you would take off just digitally? I do not have anything like that on my channel. All I can say is reverse engineer the piece and start from the inside working outward and dont be afraid to make pieces over and over again until you get it right. That's what champions do!

    @@ShotgunScream Just digitally I could start it in Maya and export it, but since I'm working on learning ZBrush I'm trying to find a good method for doing as much as I can there instead. I've still got some final details to add to the character's skin, but I'm thinking I might try masking bits and pieces, extruding, drinking a shit load of coffee, shaping it all out, punching a hole through the wall when it doesn't work the way I want it to, and trying again.

  • @ShotgunScream

    @ShotgunScream

    Undead Taco I would start with blocking it out with masking and extracting. Then move brush til the forms are the way I like it. Use trim dynamic and then after that sketch is done retopologize with the topology brush and use Zmodeler to recreate it with really clean topology. Hope that helps.

    I love how you reply to every comment unlike other KZreadrs. Also, is there a way to apply noise to textures? I wanted to upload a skin texture into zbrush just to add the realistic noise effect to it and use it for a virtual game

  • @ShotgunScream

    @ShotgunScream

    4 жыл бұрын

    you can into Surface in your Tool palette, click noise, then edit, at the bottom left of the canvas you will see an Alpha on/off. Click that and now you can use alphas as the basis for your Noise applications. Very glad you are enjoying the channel. Share the video if you would be so kind.

    Basically what I am trying to say.. I uploaded a obj mesh head into zbrush. I was trying to find a way to create skin pores and found that zbrush was the better way to go. I uploaded my skin texture file to apply it to the obj mesh head that I’ve uploaded. I am trying to apply the noise to the skin instead of only on the mesh head 😭 I hope I’m making sense
