Hi Jose so I bought some aftermarket ink cartridges out of AliExpress and ink from eBay . I’m having trouble with colors when I use the oem cartridges the prints come really good but when I use the aftermarket market cartridges and ink the colors not match at all like the oem . So I don’t know if it’s the cartridges or the ink or both any advice sir 🙏

If I bought a second waste cartridge and put it in after the first was declared full by the printer , and then waited for the second cartridge to bd declared full and replaced it with the first one ( which isn’t in reality full) would the printer accept the chip in the first cartridge ?

There are maintenance cartridges for some Canons but I don't think they're photo ones. Tc20 comes to mind. I picked my Et8550 to upgrade from my Pro10 because of that cartridge and tanks. Paper should be the most expensive part of printing.

Hi Jose, nice video as always! 👍😊👍 I have a question about color space, when printing from Lightroom... Scenario: editing a raw file using Lightroom Develop module. Once proper editing is done, I go directly to the Print module (Without 1st exporting/saving the edited raw file), and print my edited file using an appropriate icc profile. The print looks real fine but still, I wonder... Question: Since a raw file has no color space (which is only set during export, right?), what color space will my printer produce since I'm printing directly from a raw file? I know the icc profile will play a role but will my file be sent by Lightroom as ProPhotoRGB, Adobe RGB, SRGB... ? Sorry this is not the scope of this video but, it just came to mind as I was looking it.

Simply put, you don't have to worry about any of that. LR remembers and saves EVERY single thing you do or edit on your raw file. It's saving the virtual edits and foes nothing to the original raw file. So just exit, go to the print module, and print. If you use an ICC profile you need to disable color management in the driver.

@@cheo1949Thanks for the reply! 👍😊👍 Yes that's exactly what I'm doing but how does this process would differ from printing lets say, a jpg,dng,tiff file saved with a color space? Since no color space was specified, would printing directly from the raw file yield wider gamut/color space than what would be "dictated" by a file saved with color space?

Cartridge CLI 42, CLI 8, BCI 6.................can be used on canon pro-200?Thank you😊😊🙏🙏

No to BCI-6, the cartridge shape is not compatible with the CLI-42/CLI-65 and it cannot fit into the Pro-200.
