This method will not work if you have a big tower heatsink like nh-d15.

power switch also need to be off, and hold the power button for a few seconds just to drain energy left behind
I fucked up my pc
that was smooth. I did this one time but i broke the tab down the gpu
that's very common issue. The current designs for the retaining tabs are horrible.
