Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Well, we used to do how to videos in the past that past ..
I figured I'd show how easy to change the steering wheel on your S2000.
We're changing to a red stitched wheel on our car, I think it will pull in the red seats belts.

Warning! UNPLUG BATTERY!!! Its mentioned in video, but only briefly. Needs to be emphasized. Number 1 protocol for service involving airbag. Otherwise great video! Comprehensive, well explained. BTW, center bolt torque is 29 lb ft.
got this done today, thanks again for nicely guided video!
This video was super helpful! Thankyou.
LHT Performance has 0% crap in their blood. Keeps me coming back!
perfect timing, im planning to re-dye and refinish my stock steering wheel
The non padded version is my favorite as well! Looks great John!
When I bring my S2000 down in the spring from Charlotte NC I want one of those steering wheels. I love the care you guys take when you work on S2000's.

We can arrange that. We’ll get one built ahead of your trip.
Great detailed video for steering wheel R&R! Thanks guys!
Very beautiful indeed, especially the red stitching... ✨❤️🙌
Oh! Gosh, finally found a solution to the 06+ SRS light! Thank you so much! I suggest you slightly modify the title to add "2006+" to make it easier for those who need it to find it!
Great step by step video and beautiful work as always, John.👍 Man, that red stitching really sets it off.👌 Those wheels are quality. Have a good evening, buddy.

Thanks buddy, hope it helps future wheel swappers.
Jon: Your..killing me with these S2K upgrades and builds. The custom steering wheels are the perfect finishing touch on a built S2k. Now just have to shake the $ tree to get another S2k to go with the Scat Pack. 👍👍.
Thank you LHT !!
What the torque for the steering wheel bolt? Great video! Some models have different air bag connectors mine were different than yours but found video on how to disconnect it.
When I changed my steering wheel I loosend the bolt, but didn't remove it completely. That way the bolt would stop the wheel from smacking me in the face while pulling on it.

That’s a good idea for keeping it under control. Like I always say, take your time, spent more time thinking than fixing. 👍🏻
Anyone send their steering wheel in to make it a flat bottom wheel? Being 6’3 I feel like that would make a big difference, but I don’t know for sure. Good video LHT!

There’s several companies that offer that. It will gain you a little more room when in the straight position, but of course the wheel has to turn. It didn’t appeal to me.
Can you tell us the company that did the wheel replacement? Thanks!

I remove the wheel and ship to them. They handle it and send it back.
Love your videos! The bright red stitching is kind of kitsch though, no?

Couldn't you have also hit the mounting plate with a wire brush?

Message me on IG. I will check see if I one in stock.
Another neutral color for the stitching, like yellow, white, or gray, would be appreciated for blue, white, black, etc. cars.
Are the steering wheel cover made by MEWANT which cost around $65? I know those steering wheel covers did NOT come from Euroboutique!

I worked with a guy that broke his nose pulling on a wheel like a lunatic. It’s sometimes hard to watch people work on cars. Lol.

I have a fake Momo steering wheel and every one thinks it is real ;) Only because the car looks like Ecstasy.
Painting interior parts....makes me cringe lol

It used to be huge in the late 90s and early 2000s. Lol.
