Been operating my business for 3 years now, real stuff here no fluff…biggest lesson i learned is buying all this inventory and not having a demand for it. Still sitting on 10k worth of inventory to this day 😅

You can create demand by marketing it better or do a giveaway to promote some engagement. Sell it at local pop up shows and events that have vendors.. there’s 0 reason to have inventory and no demand either product isn’t good or you’re not marketing it right! Hope this helps…

I really enjoy your insight to brand building and teaching how to start a successful business. I started a brand years ago that failed because I didn’t know half of this stuff. I’m in the process of starting a new one and this time around I’m already on a better path. Thank you

12:16 “Your margins are crazy!! 1,000% or 100%” 😂😂😂 The theoretical limit is 100% margins. That means every $1 of revenue is pure profit. You have zero expenses. Anything above 100% margins is impossible.

  • @TheOverpowered1

nope, it will cost more but the dollar cost average will be Much lower. For example you order 5 shirts and the shipping is 20 dollars, then u order 50 shirts the shipping is 80 dollars. the shipping in total is much much cheaper

You just did gross margins, not net margins at gross margins, 70% would be more economical, you have fix expenses that you cannot control or bring down, these usually would be 50% of the 70% you have. your number of 10-15% that is net. I would have said to focus on gross margins and not net margins, this way you can attempt your best to run as lean as possible. I would also recommend, that the net margins should be after you take your income out of the business, as a viable business still needs a stockpile of money. anything less than 15% net after owners have taken income as well is not a viable business
