Pre-Order vs Pre-Made both have their pros and cons so don't think 1 is the only way to do it. Pre-Order can be risky if not many people buy your product because then the cost to produce the clothing will be more expensive. Also, it could receive bad reviews for late shipping negatively affecting the chance of attracting future customers.

@@f4llenstarr it varies from person to person. Some people solely focus on clothing, while others such as myself, post about architecture, art, music along with (mainly) fashion. Basically it’s just an Instagram blog that is curated to the creators liking. If a curation page gets popular enough, they can start doing paid promotions for clothing brands.

Can you make an entire video on more ways to hype up your brand

For my first drop I’m doing pre made but I’m thinking I’m leaning more towards that bc I’m a photographer myself and I want to do campaign shoots for everything. Concept and all. I don’t want to just post a pic of a shirt with a white background like I see everywhere. Only thing that’s bad about that is at the beginning, pre order is so good to see how many people are interested. Pre made at first, kinda just guessing and what you can afford.

@@gotworc Agree, people are visual creatures and have imaginary skills, they will think that the clothes will look like that on them, as in the picture, video etc. Both can. With or without a model.

My idea for the pre-order mock-up step would be to get a DTG print for each design you have (or want to promote at least) and use that DTG print to take some on-body photos... like you could literally just get one DTG print of the graphic tee you want as the focus piece then use that single tee to create multiple photos of different people (or same person if you have no friends lol) wearing the tee in different locations or scenarios. Obviously you don't want to sell the DTG print as a final product but I think it could act well to take on-body pictures with

I can, but it’s super easy you just download the pack and drag them to your design software and then drag your graphics on top. It’s easier with illustrator because you can change every color of the mock ups by clicking on the shape, with Photoshop you have to manually change the colors, but included in the file pack is a link to a KZread video that shows you how to do it

Hey Jake, so how do you get a manufacturer to do preorders with you? Ive seen many with lets say 50 MOQ, but lets say I only have 15 orders that are preordered and then close the site. How do you get the manufacturer to only send you 15?

Then you have to order the minimum even if you don’t sell that many. So you may not make any profit or make a little profit, but then you’ll have extras and you can put them on the site and advertise and sell those, or sell them in person or do giveaways with them or whatever

@@seaggs Just trying to find the right manufacturer. I use alibaba and love the quality garments and measurements they use. Just lead time and pricing is the issue gets very expensive. Thinking of just doing production here In LA to save lead time and using blanks like LA apparel.

Hey seaggs can u give me some advice, I’m running a preorder on my first drop and I’m looking to hire an ad agency to hype up the drop. I notice in the video it says to run the ads through the agency before the drop is even live, but i should still post on social media showing how my collection looks before I hire the ad agency right? Because if im a new brand on IG without any pictures of actual clothing, running the ads would be useless at that point because The leads on the ads will just follow into my brands IG page without actually having clothing for sale

Question during the shipping step can’t I just bring the shirt to the post office and give them the address and information and they do the shipping label or is it best for me to just save the money to get a computer and shipping label printed

After bulk order is placed usually, 3-6 weeks. Depends on a lot of factors
