    Liberos are allowed to serve in the US, but not internationally. Just replace the libero serving instead with the middle serving to make it correct, hope that clears things up!

However, this is probably the easiest and simplest video I’ve found on a rotation... and I will gladly drop a like for that! It took me a bit, but I understood more and more... So thank you for A. Doing this video calm and cool B. Explaining thoroughly and C.making a video about a 6-2 rotation 😃😄👏👍🏐

    If you want a simpler 6-2 (less advanced) then you want to simply pull back your RS to receive instead of maneuvering your OH to pass, then bring your setter as close to the net as possible.

    @@ConanLiuMD well, i'm new too, and i didn't even know that those guys scrumbled in the net was so strategically planned, but i have one little question about base posotion. Because the setter is backrow, he (she) could end up having to pass, and then he (she) couldn't set the ball, so why their base position is in the backrow?

    Thanks to Haikyuu, I got a huge interest in Volleyball as well as it's positioning and detailed explanation about Serves, spikes, Block (Kill And Soft), setter, and also Libero can set the ball to the spiker/setter to smash the ball but he has to jump before the middle line, otherwise it'll be illegal... To be honest, I really had no idea until I watched Haikyuu as well as Play the game in College!!! Also, great explanation from your side about rotations!!! Keep up the great work... 👍😊

    For less confusion, it could just be two setters and you could have a setter in front row and back row. When the front row setter rotates to back row you'd have the back row bcomeling the front setter

    Your presentation is really good but your information is a little out- of- date. Since liberos generally go in for the middles in the back row, they have what you call the middle (in the back row) play left-back on defense. Hence what you call the outside hitter (in the back row) plays center-back on defense in most current defensive systems. Additionally, if the setter takes the first hit, the libero takes the second ball to set. You may want to consider making an updated video noting that the libero generally goes in for the middle in the back row (and a defensive specialist would go in for an outside hitter in the back row ,thus distinguishing the difference between the role of a libero and the role of a DS). I only bring this up because you do such an excellent job of illustration the roles!

    I think for service receive 3. The setter should be position behind the Mifdle Blocker, for it not to be called as rotation error. The front outside hitter can step back to receive the ball and prepare to spike on the left side of the court. That's what i always see when i watch live games.

    Your video demonstration is great! However, I am confused in serve receive rotation 2...I thought the players are required to stay in their rotation positions (RS in middle and MB on the right) until the ball goes over the net? You have the MB move to the center and RS to the right as soon as the ball goes over the net? Can you please confirm? Thanks.

  • @ConanLiuMD

    @ConanLiuMD

    6 жыл бұрын

    Andy Koski thanks for the nice comment and for your question! It is a very good question. You are correct that the MB must stay in front right and the RS must stay in front middle. However, as soon as the ball is contacted, players are free to move anywhere on the court. In order to get the MB and RS hitting in their ideal positions right away, the MB swings over to the middle as soon as the other team serves the ball (aka, as soon as the ball is contacted). This allows the MB to hit in their specialized middle position on the very first play, rather than having them hit in the right front on the first play (which they would be less experienced at). Let me know if this helped or if you have any other questions and thank you! :)
