I saw your previous video as well on the differences between MagiskHide and Zygisk. I am very confused now whether to upgrade magisk from 23 to 24.1 or not. I generally do a dirty flash while upgrading magisk (wipe system -> flash rom + flash gapps + flash magisk). With this new update I am very confused whether to upgrade or not since I use MagiskHide quite extensively. Currently on LOS 18.1 on Poco F1. Thanks for the previous video and this one as well. Keep up the good work.

Hey munchy New magisk 24.3 the uninstall process you teach (.i.e. to rename it to uninstall) is not working. When I flash it instead of doing uninstall process it's end up doing installation process.

Munchy, I'm using ancient OS Android 12 on mi 11x device, my internal storage is encrypted in twrp, what should I do to flash magisk?

it so simple thank you i rooted the device and installed custom recovery on samsung . this is how i did- you need pc,laptop then power off device and press both volume buttun and connect usb to phone it will enter download mode then press device unlock it will reset the device and bootloader will be unlocked then power off phone again and open odin and enter download mode in phone and connect usb to phone flash vbmeta disable file on ap and start if needed u can skip if the above one works then again select twrp in ap mode and flash it will boot into twrp simple

You can only do this on Exynos versions or Hong Kong versions of Snapdragon, correct? Everything I read tells me my USA Snapdragon can't be bootloader unlocked...

install magisk apk manually and see ..not sure if magisk latest version support Android 5 ..check github page to confirm

Then what is that patching magisk.zip method? I mean if I can root my device only by changing the file extension and flashing it, why I'd extract the boot or recovery.img, patch it with magisk and and flash it then (it is such a log method)?
