Take it out the package, tie it on and chunk it . Thats how you rig a spinnerbait …..unless you have stock in trailers .

If you have stock in trailers you just make shorts to sell them to people. Regardless, knowledge of fishing changes often. Adding trailer to a spinner bait may be newish but if it works better than a bare bait, what's the harm?

Shoot I take the skirt off and put the swimbait trailer on after. Works better.

Sometimes you might need to shorten the bait just cut about half a inch off the head end

In the Philippines we like to use worms cause fish love em these kind of baits can only catch salmons and carps we like to catch thoose tilapia's

Worm is the universal fish bait if you want to cast and wait. But sport fishing which is what you get here a lot, people want to try to prove their "skills" in deception of a fish. I don't even know anyone that fishes for their food. My dad and I used to keep everything so his Filipino wife could make fish head soup though.

@@EricsaidfulI literally never fished for sport till I moved up south and even then it’s a hard habit to break. I fished for food my entire life with my dad and that was our sport - we just kept it. And all of our friends and family did - we lived in Cali and weren’t born. Just literally loved fish.

Divine swimbaits by 6th sense fishing

Caught one today without it but might be better with it only the fish will know

how much better is it to rig the bait rather than just running it with the hook.

you do not need to use a trailer at all. only if you want too give it some extra weight or something more for the fish to see. i fish spinnerbaits regularly.

I will also remove the skirt sometimes

Are you supposed to be a trailer on your spinner bait? Do I have to do that?

Man I just bought those exact ones and was so excited about it, and then they literally fell apart in 5 casts or less on each one. Bad batch of plastic or something because they are straight trash. Not saying they are always like that, I have no clue, but my first experience w them was a bad one.

I really do not unerstand why hook that small fish. Without it, the spinner works better.
