How to Rig a Ribbonfish for slow trolling for Kingfish

Спорт

Here we go just about to start off a new fishing tournament season. We held a rigging party at Captain Eric Neidorf's garage. Here is a great "How To" video on rigging up a ribbonfish for slow trolling for kingfish or king mackerel. Team "How Ya Reelin" aka "Strictly Fishing" aka " "Kingfish Cartel" is about to start 2020 tournament fishing season ~ fishing against some of the best fishermen and woman from all over south Florida and parts in between. The slow trolled ribbonfish is just one of our techniques for catching smoker kings. Lot's more tournament fishing videos to come, so please subscribe to my channel.

That is it. When you twist it tight, it's incredibly strong. Been doing it like that over 30 years and never had one come undone. You also don't have to cut off any fins or use any fancy tackle. Just basic king busters or dusters. Kings are easy to catch. Far too many people overcomplicate it. I see people use expensive fluorocarbon leader, high price fancy lures, those messy menhaden oil drip bags, expensive chum bags, etc 😂😂 I have caught hundreds of kings using the basic setup this guy has. Also silver eel is the best bait to use.
