Do you want to learn how to ride a scooter? Are you anxious about it or don't know where to start? Watch this! I am a self-identified Good Scooter Driver; I have driven for 2.5 years and over 20,000 km (about 12,000+ miles).
I, too, was very anxious to ride a scooter, but once I got the hang of it, it became my favorite form of transportation. With a scooter, you are able to access many places easily (and it's easier to find parking too!) Also, it's just fun.

Nice vid. I picked up a Kymco like 150 a few weeks ago. It’s actually in the shop already but hopefully just minor work needed.
DO NOT USE YOUR HIPS TO STEER, when you're driving fast. moving your body to steer is the most ineffective way to steer. use counter-steering. counter-steering usually comes in effect after 12mph and should be the only way to steer mc or scooter period

Where I am in America not that many people ride scooters, I think I’m the only one. I’d love to go to a country and ride around where scooters are a main form of transportation for many people.

i understand, I am a little nervous to ride scooters in America because I think other drivers are not conscientious and the roads are not fitted for safe scootering. But it is really lovely to drive in Taiwan (for the most part)

can i rent a scooter in taiwan if i have an international driving liicense but no morotcycle or scooter permit in it?
I've just bought a 125 scooter after not riding one for probably 10 or 15 years so this was useful. Thanks Chris in UK

I just tried driving a scooter for the first time at slow speed and I have a very hard time turning: my teacher said I have turn my head quite a lot to look in the direction I want to go: that helps a bit, but it's sill hard, I think I am missing something... any additional tips? Also. since I am short, I tend to lean on the handlebars and therefore I sometimes unintentionally accellerate: very scary!!! 😱😱😱

Turning at slow speeds is difficult! It often feels like you will fall. When you are turning slowly and feel like you will fall, accelerate slightly to allow yourself to remain upright. Be careful and good luck! It will take practice and intentionality to know that you shouldn't lean on the handles!

You should regularly take care of your brakes. If they are too loose, take the scooter to get repaired!
What's the model of your scooter🤐 ?

The brand is Kymco but I don't know the specific model. It is a couple of years old and 125cc.
