I passed my driving test on my first go. My instructor thinks the credit goes to him(I was basically paying the chap to use his car to practice, that's all the good he did me), but all the credit really goes to you. Thank you for these videos. Thank you!!!

Terrible technique, look elsewhere

I think this is the best 45 degree parking tutorial in KZread. I failed my first practical driving test because I could not do a proper 45 degree reverse parking. The techniques I learned from the driving school were more of guided drills than lessons. This tutorial clarified a lot of concepts and reference points for me. After the second take, I now passed the practical driving test and have a driver's license. My parking is not that perfect yet, so I will keep practicing and keep on coming back to this video until I am near perfect at it. Thanks!

I have learnt & actually improved on my driving skills only by watching your videos which was a straight 80% improvement within a day! Even my instructor was surprised and disappointed at the same time i noticed! 22 lessons with no progression at all. I wish i had thought of watching videos before starting instead of wasting 38 (22+16 before the pendamic) lessons in total so far =waste of time +money+energy and lacking confidence +disappointments thinking i was slow or dumb ! Today I actually told my instructor to sod off because i realised he was not helping me at all! Thanks to you! 🙌

I'm brazilian and I passed on my driving test and learned how to drive because of you. I spent a month or so without even practicing due to an injury I've suffered. I knew I had to keep practicing even so, so I created a playlist with your videos. As soon as I came back I had huge improvement, which surprised my instrutor. thank you!

After watching several videos on reverse bay parking, this one by far and away explained it in the most understandable way and gave me some really helpful makers to use!!!

So glad I found this video. My test is rapidly approaching and reverse bay parking is the one manovere I don’t feel at all confident with. Will be watching this everyday till my test x

I'm from Malaysia and even though I've managed to do reverse bay park successfully a few times when I got my own car, for some reasons I failed to do so recently. But thanks to your video I know exactly what my mistake is, I always try to back up whenever the first corner of the parking bay appears in the side mirrors. Just want to say thank you for this. Was having issue with my instructors method (not saying its bad, just wasn't working for me) and the 90 degrees method went completely out the window when I changed to my own vehicle. Using this technique im now nailing it everytime and it seems far, far easier and more intuitive.

Thanks for this, I've always found 45 degree parking difficult so will definitely try it out. Every other video seems to recommend applying full lock at stage 3 before reversing and I can never get it right! Great channel by the way.

This method is more practical in real life situations, however, the instructors teach the 3 line method ( 90 degree) just for the sake of getting the test passed.... what to say, we learn so many things after passing the test to deal with the real life scenarios...thank you for the vedio...so understandable ..for new drivers like me....continue your good work..

Thank you. The only thing I do differently is that I encourage getting the front wheels straight before the learner finishes the forwards 45° phase. It's nothing to do with dry-steering: it's so that its immediately obvious if they've steered the wrong way when beginning the reverse phase. Good to see you making good use of Corona-Time 😂

I made this before the lock down . Unfortunately I won't be able to go out and make videos during lock down.

I have my first test on the 6th and I am sure I will pass as I can do 99% of driving absolutely fine. I have my own car and often have to parallel park in very small spaces. Just the one manoeuvre I beg I don't get is reverse bay park as thats one I am not 100% there yet. I get it every time but I am usually almost on the line if I don't go out and in again. This is super useful thank you!

Thank you so much for this and all your other videos. This is by far the best channel for learner drivers. You're such a great teacher. My instructor told me I couldn't do this method as it involves moving forward. Would moving forward during the reverse park give you a minor? This method is the easiest for me to get right and I'd like to use it in my test which is in a couple of weeks.

Moving forward to line up is the sensible thing to do as it gives you a better start position. The examiner will understand this and yes you can definitely do that on test.

This was pretty simple to follow, I'm going to try this out eventually because reverse parking is easier to get out of a parking space than forward bay parking.

GOODLUCK GUYS YOU CAN DO IT I JUST GOT MY LISCENES TWO YEARS AGO IM 25 DIDNT GROW UP DRIVING PASSED MY DRIVING TEST THE FIRST TIME JUST WATCH AND STUDY THESE VIDEOS YOU DONT HAVE TO BE THE PERFECT DRIVER just make sure your car can fit always when you about to reverse you look back in the back seat and then check the mirrors line the mirrors with the line then put the car in reverse then line it up , i sometimes open the door after i park to make sure im fully in the spot and not past both lines

I watched these videos the night before my test. Today, I had my driving test and I passed first time with 2 minor faults!

Thankyou for the video, i passed my test but i seem to have forgoten everything i was taught now i am on my own! Parking is awful, and the 3 line rule doesn't seem to work in my car, or i have forgoten how to do it, i am not sure which! I also feel with the 3 line method someone may pinch my space by the time i have lined myself up. I will watch this video again and try this method, it looks much simpler. I also have a car with the fiddly stick things to adjust mirrors, so i am pleased you mentioned how to do it without adjusting the mirrors, i will let you know how i get on :-)
