Couple questions. When you say image do you mean a digital photo? or do you mean art that was scanned. Which one is raster and which one is vector? GIMP is a raster program, so your image is art image like flower or squirrel watercolor painted?

There is not vector images.

Just raster images/photos, it is similar if you use digital photo or scanned art, it work same for every raster format.

Hi, can I do this with artwork I got from online? For example an art work from an online museum. How can I use the art work and resize it while keeping the quality? Thanks

I think you should try it. Gimp should not change the quality when resizing and cropping something.

Hey dude, Can you just help? I donot have the Rectange Icons and the Aspect Ratios for any image. I have trying since the past 1.5 hour but unfortunately I couldnt revert it back to its original form. Can you just help me?

@@priyanksaikia5549 Try maybe Edit-> Preferences -> (Interface) Toolbox -> Use tool group (uncheck)
