Your video saved me from waking up to a freezing sleeper. I have a cold weather sleeping bag, but this was a huge help. Thank you for taking the time to share this and yes you are correct. There are no videos showing this exact issue. Just as you said in your video. The HMI display for the TriPac is on, but the dials/knobs are not responding. There is no red triangle and there are no codes. The unit only has white lights on the display. I followed your video and had to remove the faceplate off of the wall where I found the quick disconnect. There are two little tabs that run along the bottom of the HMI control station (where the three dials/knobs are). I used a flathead screwdriver and the faceplate popped right off. I unplugged the unit from the power source for five minutes. I plugged it back in and powered it back on by holding down the on button for a few seconds. The faceplate started to respond as normal. Bunk heater is working and fan speed as well.

Thank you bro .. just fixed it. Its two openings at the bottom that you can put a flat head in and pop it out.

Thanks for ur video. I found that the two little squares on the bottom of the control unit u can get a screwdriver and pry down to release the clips holding the unit to the bracket. The hole for the wire was in the wrong spot for me to just unplug. Thanks again

😊 thank you. Another way if youre in a pete is to use a flat head screw driver on the piece under eachh left and right knob. Specifically insert into the little slits and tilt up. The cover comes off top down like opening a taco that is facing up. Then push the little tab on the plug and pull. Hope this also helps

Anyone know how to do this on a Kenworth T680, 2020? Mine doesn't have the plug-in directly in back. I'm trying to follow the wires, which run into the framework, under the bunk & towards the APU unit, which is located on the passenger side of the truck. But I can't find the ultimate disconnect that I need to undo for five minutes.

Nevermind. The plug-in is, in fact, directly behind the control panel, but one has to go through the front display to get to it. I'll see if this works, but even if it doesn't, kudos to the original poster for creating a video that gets to the point & does not appear to be a well-documented fix anywhere else online.

@@FirstnameLastname-wl9jx yes there are two small tabs that run at the bottom of the HMI display. Take a flat head screwdriver and use the tabs as leverage to pop the faceplate off. Just like you discovered the plug you are looking for us right there and has a quick disconnect. I was having trouble myself. I unplugged mine and after five minutes plugged it back in and everything is working again. This video was a huge help.
