Dang brother you were so right I had a school worked on my truck and they closed the valves on the coolant hoses. I opened them up and APU working like a champ thanks bro

My apu I have to hit the reset button more often. It’s so hard diagnose the problem. Changed batteries. Cleaned terminals. Checked voltage on alt is good. Fuses are good. But I keep having to hit the reset button daily while the engine code is on to get the apu to start.

Condenser fan is AC and it would throw an ACS code not ENG. if you have to hit the reset, there is obviously an issue still.

Hi i have a question my Truck Apu is also showing eng code after the reset it stars for 3-4 seconds or try to start but goes off so any suggestion ? I checked everything

Just set your temperature down. Your APU should not turn off until it cools down to the temperature that you set.

Also, my company neglected to turn back on the valves for coolant after it was in the shop and I received the eng with the red triangle, if the truck was in the shop I would definitely check that too

Thanks you so much ur a good person I thought I was going to freeze to death. Also I was wounding how long should my apu run at night mine runs for about a minute then shuts off I’m running my bunk heater and tv but still seems like it should be on more often

The thermo King starts if the batteries are low or is the AC is running. The minimum time and maximum time it can run at once can also be changed with a computer. Usually if it won't stay running then there is a fault

I don't think yours has that button. Try bunk controller on, ignition key off then hold the Regen button on the dash for like 30 seconds. If the light doesn't clear then just try it again. Depending on your issue the code may not clear until a repair is made

Так вот этот код пропал, и apu начал заводится но так и не заводится просто крутит стартер и не заводится в итоге. Можешь подсказать пожалуйста в чем может быть причина если знаешь или сталкивался с подобным? Заранее благодарю🤝

Посмотри ремень, все ли шкифты крутятся? У меня было буквально пару дней назад такое. Заклинил стартер, постукал молотком и он начал крутить. Так же проверь топливную помпу. Сними Шланг и проверь если качает топливо.

My TK is just like yours I get the same Code I have a leaking coolant reservoir I think it has Something to do with that. When I try to start it doesn’t even turn. I been looking for the reset button but can’t find it

Yeah leaking coolant reservoir could be the problem. Also, check the thermostat on the TK. Hope you found the button, it’s gonna be on the side of the black box that’s in one of your storage places. Some have it from driver side, others from passenger side of the vehicle

All your belts are good too? Not ripped? Try leaving that small cover open so it keeps the engine cooler. Mine started throwing eng code again today. I let the APU cool down for a bit, opened that engine cover, now it’s working fine.

Also, the Coolant level has to be to the TOP TOP

Did all this the eng light comes on as soon as I push the button to turn on

I have the same issue. But I can't find the damn reset button. And I have a tripac. So different set up, but same problem

It’s not under your bunk? Driver side? Is your tripac Evolution model?

@@vadimsanich3024 yes I believe it is the evolution model. And my truck is a 2020 international. It started doing the problem you had. Same thing only worked at night like you mentioned. Then today. It blows air for a minute. Then shuts off. Apu doesn't even try to crank anymore

Have you tried pressing the Reset button on the APU itself? Under the APU cover there should be a red reset button

Even though you said you already checked the coolant level you should have still showed us how you check it and where it is located. It would made a better informative video.

It’s the main truck coolant. If you didn’t know how to check the coolant level in your truck you shouldn’t be driving a truck. He states that some units have a standalone coolant tank but his is off of the trucks. I thought it was pretty clear but then again I’m not an idiot.

He didn’t say anything about the fuel pump !!!

My coolant comes from the expansion tank on the truck. I know some units have their own tank, but mine is connected to the truck
