THANK YOU! This works on the LG LHT764 factory reset too! Note that none of the functions were working, it was "stuck" on DVD after a power outage. Very few buttons responded from the remote. Pressed Setup, then held 0 on the remote and down/stop on the face plate (it's tricky on this model, because it's a touch-capacitive wheel). Voila! All functions can be setup again -- I just use this as basement audio now.

I have lg ht302 home theatre. Whenever i play my home theatre through aux or by dvd it plays for 1 hour and produces unusual sound. I could not control it by adjusting the volume. After switching off the sound stops. Any solution for this problem? Pls

When on DVD mode, choose the appropriate input on your TV using your TV remote.

My LHD 655 will reset and show E2P clear but switch off on rebooting. But problem is not solved I have problem of missing bluetooth, radio and usb functions i can only play dvd and aux. I took it to lg dealer in Nigeria i was told the bluetooth and motherboard is bad i was charged 110 dollars. I got this system 3 years ago for 190 dollars and it only had 2yrs warranty on Repair.

hi, my disc reader on my LG theatre stopped working lot of years ago. I then used it as an audio surrond connected to my ps3 and tv. worked fine for years. Suddenly, one night, the ldr update appeared, the the unit turned off. I can turn it on, but the same message appears. I managed with some luck to perform this reset, but when I turn on the device it still happens. Pushing input button randomly while turning on the device I finished on the radio and it worked for some seconds, then automatically turns off again, saying "goodbye", So it's not some hardware stuff, I think. Never connected to internet, as I said it worked as an audio system for years, even without using it as a blu ray reader for years. model hb 405 su. I would happily offer you a beer if you can help (or the equivalent if you don't drink :) ) Thanks.

Your unit has a problem that can only be fixed at an LG service centre near you

But first try disconnecting all the speakers and see if it will still switch off on its own. If it does not then there is a problem with one of your speakers

Its usually not advisable to update normal home theaters. But it is possible you just download the software of the exact model on their website

Sound going down on it's own means that the motherboard needs to be replaced. The problem could have originated from a short circuit on of your speakers. Have them checked as well

I actually use hisense 50 smart tv which I connected hdmi and optical cable to it. I had that troubleshooted today. But I think it’s not from there

And lastly mate, It doesn’t show necessarily on the sound system that the volume goes down. Like this night, I was watching Netflix and the sound was actually good but it got to a point whereby it went down itself and I was just hearing the bass. What can I do? I’m just so tired already

My LHD 657M Home theater doesn't give me the Bluetooth and FM options anymore and the unit doesn't transmit any video signals via the HDMI cable to my TV. Resetting hasn't worked for me. What could be the problem?

Your home theatre cannot read discs and so it returns to the home menu. Have the lens replaced

If the disc or optical input supports 5.1 sound then the home theater will play it

LHD427 doesn't play though it being on.. it used to read BT READY.. now only BT

Do some elimination by removing some speakers. The problem might be a shorted speaker. If it still switches off on its own then it may be a main board problem.

I have LG LHD625 HOME THEATER but on first boot in bluetooth mode sound does not come when connected with phone .. the sound starts again after 5 to 6 minutes by pressing the all keys on remote ( randomly ), tried resetting it by watching ur video but still no luck the problem presists !! Okay here we go. 1. Press Home button on your home theater 2. Scroll sideways to setup and press enter 3.Scroll down to Audio 4. Go right and scroll down to HD AV Sync 5. Set it to 0ms

First try and disable the simplink feature on your TV. If that doesn't work then the motherboard is faulty and needs replacing.

1. Make sure there is no disc in the tray 2. Press and hold the stop button on the main unit and the digit zero on the remote control at the same time for around 5 seconds 3. Main unit will display E2P CLR and shut itself down meaning factory reset is done
