Done it! It's difficult to get the battery out. I've pulled it out from the back with a screw driver. When you put the new battery, try to fit the cables in a way they don't touch the cap because it could cause vibrations when playing bass sounds. Thank you, you saved me money!

my Flip 4 is 2 years old and in perfect condition except for the battery. Kudos for providing an option to JBL's planned obsolescence and having to throw it in the garbage.

Thanks for sharing, did it and now it is charging, pull out the battery was hard work, plug broke off, so I screwed in a long screw and pulled it out, rest easy peasy....

Great instructions. This worked perfectly. It was a bit difficult to get the old battery out, though. Anyway, I didn't have to throw away my JFlip4.

Wow I was just about to put my Flip for sale. This one was a replacement and no longer holding the charge like the one it replaced. I don’t think I’ll buy a JBL speaker again since they’re made so horribly. Thanks for helping fix my issue before I parted with my speaker! 😊
