The best video on the subject, and the only one, for 13' Mustang

I followed this video with a third party regulator. Had a huge gap along the right side and corner. Spent hours adjusting everything with no progress. Installed an OEM Motorcraft regulator and everything aligned perfect first try. The clamp for the glass has a very different design. I highly recommend buying OEM and saving yourself the headache.

Great informative video, took me about two hours total to complete this job!

Excellent Video- saved me about $500 from the local garage quote. The only thing I would say is, don’t stress on the adjustment screws and getting the window all the way up, because when the door of the mustangs closes, they go up an additional 1/4 inch or so on their own, to the top. Not sure why, but that’s what happens on mine. Great video.

Very well done video. The exact steps that where for my 2014 Mustang. My mounting bracket for the T-30 bolt on the top with the door handle dangled down. So i had to pot that screw clip back in place and all is good. One thing. My window does not leave the gap with the door open with window rolled up and the roll up 1/8” after the door is closed like it use to. Not sure if that is just an adjustment or not.

My drivers side window is not as tight as the passenger side. If I shake the door by holding the glass, there is some play in the window. Whereas the Passenger side is solid. Also noticed the affected window seems to not curve into the car as much. Are there some ramps or plastic clips in the door assembly that need to be replaced?? Window goes up high enough and tucks under weather stripping but I would have a better seal if it would curl in when putting the window up. Any ideas what to look for and adjust?

Besides the up and down adjustment, shouldn't it have also been adjusted a little back towards the rear so that it gets a better seal abutting against the plastic molding?

Have a 2014 mustang with a driver side window issue. Window is stuck in the closed position. Fuse is good. When I depress switch I can hear a slight click from inside the door panel so I'm assuming the switch is good. Is this most likely the motor?

I need help. my window works well, but the side closest to the door handle sits too low and allows water to seep through? It kinda looks like it’s handing so I’ve been using a wedge to keep it up. (Mechanics in my area are scarce and take 3-4 months to even look at my car

The replacement has plastic parts instead of metal?

Why the window rattles when closing the door?

My mustang has a feature that rolls up window little more once door closes but since i put new regulator it wont do that

Might need to reset the auto on the switch. Door closed, try holding the button in the up position for 15 seconds AFTER the window is already up. Might do the trick.

Any update? Mine rolls down halfway automatically and wont roll up the little bit

How to get window up if motor is dead and window is down?

Having that same problem. Window is stuck all the way down. How do i raise the window to get to the window mounting bracket

You didnt say anything about resetting the electrical parameters on the window which you MUST do in these cars

If you don't would it cause the window to not roll all the way down?? I just changed my regulator and followed all the steps but it still won't go down all the way

Nicole theres a video on how to reset the window that go down a little when you open the door and back up to top when you close door.

i come here just to find out what size the bolts are instead of spending 5 minutes trying each socket
