I was about the let a mechanic replace the bulb for me until i found this video. Much appreciated.
Think you should show how to do it on the left hand headlight, it's not so easy as this video shows!

As far as I can tell I have to either remove the entire bumper assembly (outside attack) or remove a bunch of air handling equipment under the hood/bonnet to get to it. I had the Volvo people do this some years ago. $250 US. Thanks, Volvo Engineers!

My mechanic does the same. Removes the entire bumper and get the headlights out to change the bulbs (both sides). What were the engineers thinking 🙄

How do you change out the drivers side it's behind the air filter etc
Great, thank you. My elderly friend asked if I could replace her headlight.. Now I can do it without worrying I'm going to screw something up in the process.. Much appreciated.

Thank you, this was very helpful. Most other bulb replacement videos I could find, had the bulbs secured with a cradle. So I was very fortunate to find this video.

😂 Seems to me you’re working on different Volvo? In real life there’s not enough room to reach and work the light bulbs out.
