BFD, you just pulled and replaced the easiest plug to get to. The other 3 on this side are a pain, I usually pull the front tyre, get a few universal joint socket fittings, wear gloves and prepare to piss and moan while I try to get them out. Usually do the passenger side first, then celebrate and drink a beer, then go to drivers side and challenge that side. This is a four hour job!

I have random misfires P0300 on the two Right Rear plugs, 6+8, and sometimes the Front Left,1. Looks like those two coils have been changed and the 8 plug looks new. Sometimes a Fuel Injection code P0200. The harness covering on the Right side was mostly missing and what was left was as brittle as cornflakes. I recovered it which seemed to make it better but didn't completely fix the problem. It seems to take an hour or so of driving to make it happen. Could this misfire be from heat buildup in the back of the Dog House?

Where are people learning how to gap plugs?! NEVER just jam the gap tool between the electrodes! Bend the side electrode only. If you do it the way this person does it could break the center electrode.

This video DOES NOT APPLY to savanas from 95-2002. The plugs closest to the firewall CAN NOT be accessed from the cabin you MUST go from underneath the van. It's a pain in the ass on the older models of this van

I'll add that lifting the vehicle from the center will allow more acess inside the wheel well for the front plugs. On a '99 5.7L. guess I'll know if it's the same on a 04 GMC Savanna 6.0L here in a minute . Maybe someone else has a video of the other 90%>

+RafaN1 ## It is best to use OEM spark plugs to get the most out of your engine. I would check your owners or service manual to find out which plug you need. You can also contact your Chevy dealership to find out which one will work best! I imagine it will be the AC Delco plugs in your case.

Anyone can change plugs closest to u. the trick is changing the remaining plugs. the remaining plugs are a pain in the Neck, literally!! These engines are very difficult to work on because its so hard to access anything. Let your mechanic deal with it next time you have to bring it to him for service. Trust me.
