First, thanks for the video Tajmin Studio. 👏Some advice for others: I'm sure many people are going to upgrade the OS while they are at it putting an SSD in. I ran into two issues when upgrading to Windows 10 on this laptop model. One, upgrade your bios to the A11 version. A09 gave a blank screen with Windows 10 default display drivers. I hooked another monitor up through HDMI output and did the bios update to fix. May want to do this before you upgrade the OS if you don't have a second screen to do it later. Second issue, no USB 3.0 drivers for Windows 10, unfortunately. Seems like just XP, Vista, and 7. Installing those, even in compatibility mode, doesn't seem to work. USB 2.0 works fine though. Hope that helps!🙂

can you specify the model of your SSD, I used Crucial BX500 240Go CT240BX500SSD1. Also the SSD will work when it replaces the HDD and doesn't work as external hard drive, if I am right

I have installed 240gb ssd, its working nice and fast. After ssd installation I have upgraded the bios from A7 then I installed the windows 10, everything is nice and smooth comparatively, its been seven months no problem until now. I use this computer mainly for storage and browsing

You left all the difficult parts out of this video. Like extracting the motherboard and removing the hard drive from it.

@@TajminStudio My point was that the motherboard doesn't just come right out, you have to finagle multiple connections to the auxillary boards to get the motherboard out without damaging it. And the drive is glued weirdly to the bottom of the board, and there's a certain way or removing it without damaging the connection. I only know this because I just completed a drive replacement on one of these about 10 minutes. That being said, this is definitely one of the most complicated laptop designes I've ever seen in the Inspiron line. It is diabolical.

@@ThePyroMan123 Agree with part of it, it has a complicated design. In my laptop HDD wasn't glued to the motherboard. just few screws then it will come off without any struggle. The video was not planned at first, decided later on, to edit with what I have recorded. Anyways, once we open the chasis it isn't going to be an unpredictable job ahead.

There is no M2 slot in this laptop, you can install a slot in place of disk drive, for example see the following link; in my opinion uploading to a SATA SSD and upgrading RAM are the best choices for this laptop; www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=2.5%22+sata+nvme+&_sacat=0&LH_PrefLoc=1&_sop=15
