Thank you sooo much jut did it and helped out crazy went to Mexico 3 times never changed it. But I did recharge the AC stuff that's needed to keep the air cold.. took out the old put new in and now it's wayyyy better.

The correct name for the piston is damper.
Who's the idiot that thought that was a good location for it? With the horrendous air quality this year, and the fact that I don't know if it's ever been changed, I thought I'd look up the location. Here's hoping my next car will have it somewhere else.
